Why Is Kingsmanshop Fake?

Kingsmanshop is a website that claims to be selling men’s and women’s shirts at very low prices. The quality of the website is exceptionally poor as it contains low-resolution images, blatant spelling errors and almost no content except for the product listings. The website does not even have an About Us page.

The Privacy Policy and Terms of Service pages mention completely different names such as ‘kingsmenwearshop.in’ and ‘kingsmenswear4u’, even though the website URL is ‘kingsmanshop.in’

  • Kingsmanshop scam fake name kingsmenswear4u

A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 23rd January 2021 in Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The registrant’s details such as name and contact information have not been provided. Therefore, it is a new website that is being operated anonymously.

The product listings on the website look fake. The images have been copied from websites such as Berrylush and Flipkart. The prices are too good to be true as they are more than 70% lower than competitors. Unbelievable prices are often the most obvious sign of a scam.

Kingsmanshop does not seem to have a social media presence. The contact details provided on the website are an email ID and address. The address is fake as there is no location called ‘Bambhru Shopping Center’. The email address is a free Gmail ID and not an official company email ID. It should also be noted that that ‘shopping’ is spelt ‘sopping’ on the website, which shows that it has not been created by professionals.

No reviews for Kingsmanshop could be found online. I also tried finding reviews for ‘kingsmenwearshop.in’ and ‘kingsmenswear4u’ but no such websites exist.

It seems extremely likely that Kingsmanshop might be a scam. It is a low-quality Shopify store that is offering shirts at prices that are 70% lower than competitors. As the website has only been created in January 2021, it is a new website that is offering huge discounts, which almost always signals a scam.

Even though the website name is Kingsmanshop, the content on the site mentions random names such as ‘kingsmenwearshop’ and ‘kingsmenswear4u’. The website also contains several misspellings, which shows that it is not run by professionals.

The address given on the website is of a non-existent location in Bengaluru, even though the domain name has apparently been registered in Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The only way to contact the company is using a free Gmail address. The lack of an official email address strengthens the belief that Kingsmanshop may be a scam.

It is advisable to avoid shopping on Kingsmanshop, as it seems to be a scam similar to previous ones such as Brittany Pants, BestShirtDeal and more.

Remember: If something seems too good to be true, it probably is.
