Why Is Suatio Fake?

Suatio is a website that claims to be selling fitness equipment from known brands at unbelievable discounts. The prices on the website are up to 75% lower than competitors. ‘Too good to be true’ prices are often the most obvious sign of a scam.

A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 26th November 2020. The registrant’s details suggest that it has been registered by Ruben Hergueta from Solution Realty based in Sevilla, Spain. The contact details mentioned are a USA phone number and a free email ID.

There does not seem to be any company called Solution Realty in Sevilla and the phone number is clearly of a different country. The address provided is of a residential area. Therefore, these seem to be completely fake. Effectively, it is a new website that is being operated anonymously.

The product images are low-quality which indicates that they have been copied from other websites. The text content on the website is not original either. The content used on the About Us page can be found on at least 261 websites. An IP address analysis shows that most of these websites have neighbouring IP addresses, which means that they are operated by the same owner. The list of websites is given at the end of the article.

The About Us page also mentions that the site is operating since 2016, which is clearly a lie.

The product listings are in Spanish and the prices are given in Euros. While this would imply that the site is run by a Spanish company, it does not actually seem to be the case. Firstly, the Terms & Conditions page makes a reference to a section of US law, which makes no sense if it is a Spanish company.

More importantly, the PayPal account associated with the website belongs to a company named Hongpeng Yangfan Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. This is clearly a Chinese name, which suggests that Suatio may actually be part of a Chinese network of scam websites.

The Privacy Policy page mentions the name of a completely different website called Uniqueloomin. This once again indicates that Suatio is just a hastily-made clone of another website.

Suatio does not seem to have a social media presence. No customer reviews for it could be found either.

The contact details on the page include an address and email ID. These details are the same as those mentioned in the domain registration information. The address is of a residential area and the email ID is not an official company ID. Therefore, it appears that these details are fake.

It seems quite obvious that Suatio is a scam. There are 260+ websites using the same content and the PayPal account used is of a Chinese company named Hongpeng Yangfan Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. Therefore, it seems that Suatio is part of a Chinese scam network.

The prices on the website are too good to be true as the price are lower by 75% compared to competitors. Considering that the website was only created in November 2020, a new website offering unbelievable prices often signals a scam.

The address provided is of a residential area in Spain and the email ID is not an official company address. There is no phone number provided on the website itself, but the number provided in the domain registration is a USA number. Therefore, Suatio is clearly not run by a Spanish company as it tries to portray.

It is advisable to avoid shopping on Suatio or any of the 261 related websites, as they are all extremely likely to be scams.
