Why Is BestShirtDeal Fake?

BestShirtDeal is a website that claims to be selling men’s clothing such as shirts, tshirts and jeans. The website is a generic Shopify store and the products and prices are the same as TheSeasonOffers (now inactive) that was determined to be a scam.

The website also looks incomplete as placeholder text is visible in some places. This shows that it is not created by professionals.

A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 26th December 2020 in Delhi, India. The registrant’s details such as name and contact details have not been provided.

The main banner on the website says that BestShirtDeal is holding an End of Season sale with products being 80% off. It is quite strange for a website that is less than 3 weeks old to be holding such a massive sale. This strongly suggests that BestShirtDeal might be a scam.

Apart from the images, the text on the website seems to be copied too. The content on the About Us page randomly talks about tech and gadgets even though BestShirtDeal only sells clothes. I found that at least 11 other online stores are using the same text. The list is given at the end of the article.

BestShirtDeal does not seem to have a social media presence. The contact details given on the website all seem to be fake. The email ID does not work at all, the address is also used by at least two other websites and the phone number shows a different name and state on TrueCaller.

While searching for reviews, I found fake customer support numbers, similar to scams such as BrittanyPants, FrenzzCollection and GoldySari. This suggests that BestShirtDeal could be operated by the same set of scammers.

I also found a couple of real reviews on ComplaintsofConsumer and ConsumerComplaintsCourt where the reviewers have said that they received wrong or damaged products. This is exactly the same scam as the websites mentioned above, which once again implies that the same scammers are running many different websites.

It seems quite obvious that BestShirtDeal is a scam. It seems to be operated by the same scammers who operated previous scams such as BrittanyPants, GoldySari, FrenzzCollection, TheSeasonOffers and more.

The website is supposedly holding an End of Season 80% off sale even though it is less than 3 weeks old. The prices are too good to be true and the images have been stolen from various websites. The text has also been copied as the About Us page talks about electronic gadgets, even though these products are not sold on BestShirtDeal. The same text is being used by 11 other websites that may all be scams.

The contact details provided are all fake. The email ID does not work, the address is also used by 2 other websites and the phone number shows a different name and state in TrueCaller. Customer reviews for BestShirtDeal state that wrong and damaged products were delivered, which is the same scam that was pulled earlier by websites such as BrittanyPants. This website seems to be created by the same scammers.

It is advisable to avoid shopping on BestShirtDeal, as it does not seem to be a genuine online store.
