Why is Earning.net.in Fake?

YouTube video

Earning.net.in is a website that claims to provide data entry jobs for job seekers, such as form filling. The overall quality of the website is extremely poor and it is clear that the website is not run by a professional organization.

It is a scam similar to sites like Epagetyping.live, TheFindWork.in, TheWorkIndia.in, Resumefilling and Resumetofill which give fake promises of paying for data entry or typing work but end up harassing workers for money with fake legal threats. Continue reading to know the details.

The website is so poorly made that they do not even have a real logo. The company name is given as ‘Earning’ and the logo was created for free as it still has the watermark of the free logo creator used for making it. This shows that Earning.net.in is a fake company.

A domain name lookup of Earning.net.in shows it was registered on 7th November 2022 from Tamil Nadu, India. However, there are reasons to believe that this scam is actually operated from West Bengal. The registrant’s other details such as name and contact details have not been provided. Therefore, it is a new website that is being operated anonymously.

whois

Even though it is obvious that the website did not exist before 2022, it is falsely stated by the website owners that Earning.net.in has been active since 2011 and also 30 years. This is another indication that Earning.net.in is not a real company.

Upon analyzing the website’s content, I found that all the information on the website is fake. The content has been copied and there are at least 3 other websites which are identical and may all be scams. These sites are:

  • myearnings.in
  • regalservices.in
  • skilledtypers.com

The ‘Team Member’ information on the website is also obviously fake as this Indian company is supposedly run by White people. I found that these are not real people as the photos are stock images.

  • earning.net.in scam fake team members
  • blonde woman stock image

Earning.net.in does not have a social media presence. There are social media links given on the website but they are fake as they lead to a page selling website templates. Once again, this shows that Earning.net.in is a low-quality scam website created by fraudsters.

The following contact details are given on the website:

624/625 6TH FLOOR SILICON TOWER,GANDHI RD, NEAR MRIGNAINI, INDORE, MADHYA PRADESH 452007
support@earning.net.in
+919083315220
+918866949365

The Madhya Pradesh address contradicts the domain registration location of Tamil Nadu. The phone number is registered in West Bengal and is marked as Spam in Truecaller. Therefore, this leads me to believe that this scam website is run from West Bengal as it is a hotbed of scam call centres.

  • earning.net.in scam fake contact details 2

I discovered that the address and mobile number provided on Earning.net.in are the same as myearnings.in. This means that the two sites are related and possibly operated by the same scammers.

When I checked reviews of MyEarnings.in, it was revealed that they are running a common type of job scam. The complaints mention fake job postings for data entry, form filling, online typing, etc. on Quikr Jobs. They send candidates a fake job agreement and ask them to pay registration fees.

After the worker completes the work, they refuse payment saying that the typing had too many errors and does not meet quality standards. What’s more, a fake lawyer then starts sending threats that the worker will be taken to court unless they pay more money. Workers should be aware that the job agreement is completely fake and no company can demand money from freelancers for errors.

Conclusion

It is quite obvious that Earning.net.in and similar websites – namely, myearnings.in, regalservices.in and skilledtypers.com – are all likely to be job scams. All the information on Earning.net.in is false and it is not a real company. They are scamming workers by giving them an impossible workload such as filling out hundreds of forms in a few days. They then send fake legal threats demanding more money, citing fake reasons such as failure to complete the work and “inaccuracy”.

The website is active since November 2022, but they are falsely claiming that they are active for 30 years. The entire website’s content is copied and fake. There are other websites using the same content and at least one of them is a confirmed scam. The contact details provided are also fake and anonymous.

It is advisable to avoid signing up with Earning.net.in or any of the similar websites as there are no reasons to believe that they are genuine data entry job providers. If you are being harassed by them, you can try contacting the National Cyber Crime Reporting Helpline No. 155260 to file a complaint.
