Is Quickshopiie Fake or Real?
Fake
Why is Quickshopiie Fake?
Quickshopiie is a website that claims to be selling Cooper Discoverer tires. The website is atrociously bad as there are nonsensical categories that lead nowhere. For example, there is a dead link for a page called ‘Summer Trends’ even though it is currently December and the pictured items are not sold on the website.
The prices on the website are suspicious too as they are much lower than competitors. ‘Too good to be true’ prices are often the most obvious sign of a scam.
A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 27th September 2021 in Great Britain. No company name or contact details have been provided. Therefore, it is a new website being operated anonymously.
The About Us page of the website contains the following text:
Business Email: support@quickshopiie.com
Phone: +1(929) 235-889212
Business Address: 14 Old Eagle Road, Freehold Township, New Jersey ,07728 United States
Quickshopiie is a good marketplace that offers products from T-shirt, tire. We have one guiding principle: we value good business. What does “good” mean to us? Simply put, we think a business should provide a service that adds value to other peoples’ lives. We are dedicated to delivering our customers the kind of excellent shopping experience we would like to have.
Since 2015 we’ve sold thousands of tire, t-shirt to so many amazing people who each have unique passions. From motorcycle riders and guitar players to cat lovers and accountants who are proud of their job, we strive to make clothing that is a representation of our customers and the things they love.
Instead of just pushing out designs and hoping people will like them, we let our customers in on the tire, t-shirt idea process. If you have a great idea for a tire, t-shirt for your underwater basket weaving addiction (or pretty much anything else you love), let us know. We might just make it for you.
Firstly, the text mentions that Quickshopiie has been active since 2015 which is a blatant lie. There is no evidence to suggest that Quickshopiie existed before September 2021. The content also mentions ‘t-shirts’ even though they are not sold on the website.
Secondly, the contact details provided appear to be completely fake as the address given is of a residence in New Jersey. What’s even stranger is that a USA address has been provided even though the domain was supposedly registered in Great Britain. The phone number provided is a virtual VoIP number that can be operated from anywhere in the world. Truecaller also shows a random person’s name that is not mentioned anywhere on Quickshopiie’s website.
Third, the text on the page is not even original as the same can be found on at least 39 other websites, all of which may be scams. This hints that Quickshopiie may be part of a network of scam sites run by organized criminals. The full list of sites is given at the end of the article.
The website mentions that all major cards are accepted. However, this is a complete lie as there is no way to buy anything without contacting Quickshopiie. It is extremely unsafe to make purchases this way as they may demand payments using unsafe payment methods such as wire transfer, cryptocurrency or other irreversible methods.
There are no social media pages listed on Quickshopiie’s website and I couldn’t find any either. The website doesn’t have any company information at all. Not even the Terms & Conditions document contains such vital information, which suggests that the site has been created by scammers and not a genuine business. I could not find any reviews for Quickshopiie either.
Conclusion
It seems highly probable that Quickshopiie and the 39 similar websites may all be scams.
It is a new website that is being operated anonymously and the prices are simply are too good to be true. These two facts indicate a high likelihood that Quickshopiie might be a scam.
The entire website content has been copied and identical text can be found on at least 39 other websites. There is a fair chance that all these websites are scams operated by the same owners. The address provided is of a residence in New Jersey. This itself is weird but what makes it stranger is that the domain name was supposedly registered in Great Britain. The phone number is a virtual VoIP number, which means Quickshopiie might not be located in the USA or Great Britain.
There is no way to make a purchase directly from Quickshopiie’s website even though they claim to accept all major cards. Customers have to contact them directly and this is incredibly risky as they may take your money and run. Quickshopiie does not have any social media pages and there are no customer reviews to vouch for it.
It is advisable to avoid shopping on Quickshopiie or any of the 39 similar sites as there are almost no reasons to believe that any of them are genuine.
