Why is Quartz Global Fake?

YouTube video

Quartz Global (quartzglobal.ltd) is a website that claims to generate profits for investors through crypto trading. They promise returns as ridiculously high as 5% in 6 days. Such returns are not realistic or sustainable and make it obvious that the website is a scam.

Quartz Global also has a referral commission program where users can earn a 9% commission on deposits of their referrals. This indicates that the platform may be a pyramid scheme if not outright fraud.

A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 8th September 2022. The registrant’s details such as name, location and contact details have been hidden using a privacy guard. Therefore, quartzglobal.ltd is a new website that is being operated anonymously from an unknown country.

whois

Even though Quartz Global clearly did not exist before September 2022, it is falsely mentioned in multiple instances that the website is operating since 2020. There is absolutely nothing to indicate that this is true and therefore, it appears that quartzglobal.ltd are blatantly lying about the age of the company.

The website is poorly made and appears to be created using a cheap template, as with most fake investment platforms. Upon analyzing the website’s content, I found that all the text on the website has been copied and is being used on at least 53 other websites, all of which are likely to be scams. The list of sites is given at the end of the article.

The content also makes it obvious that Quartz Global is not a real company. They claim that their team members are educated in Great Britain even though the company is supposedly based in Australia. A fake company number is also provided.

copied content

In order to appear legitimate, the scammers behind this platform have provided the certificate of a company registered in Australia. Upon inspecting the certificate, it became obvious that it belongs to an unrelated company that has nothing to do with quartzglobal.ltd. The certificate has been edited to show that the company was registered in 2020, even though the real company whose certificate they are missing was registered in 1998.

In any case, a company registration certificate means nothing because firms providing financial services have to be licensed by an authority such as The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA)

Quartz Global does not have a social media presence. The contact details provided on the website are two email IDs and an Australian phone number for WhatsApp support. It is a virtual line that can be operated from anywhere in the world. Therefore, there is a high chance that the site is operated by African scammers, especially because they are using anonymous methods to communicate.

I could not find any client reviews of Quartz Global online. If you want to share your review of this platform, you can do so in the comments below or on my social media pages.

Conclusion

It seems quite obvious that Quartz Global and the 53 similar websites are tremendously likely to be scams. There are several signs suggesting it is not a genuine trading and investment firm. The website is new and is being operated anonymously from an unknown country. The returns being promised are too good to be true.

The site is being run by unknown owners since September 2022 and they are lying that the company is active since 2020. The edited certificate of an unrelated Australian company is provided to support this lie. I was able to trace 53 other websites that are similar to Quartz Global and all seem to be scams.

The company has no social media presence and can only be contacted anonymously by email and WhatsApp. No client reviews could be found online.

It is advisable to avoid investing with Quartz Global or the 53 similar sites as there are no reasons to believe that they are genuine trading and investment firms. As a general rule, never send crypto to strangers as it cannot be recovered.
