Is Mikidely Fake or Real?

Why is Mikidely Fake?

Mikidely.com is a website that claims to be selling mass-produced Chinese clothing such as hoodies at discounts. The website looks like another scam shop set up under the Uniqueness Scam Network of Chinese shopping scam websites. For example, the images on the website are edited and do not show the real clothing items that customers can expect to receive.

A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 11th October 2021. The registrant’s details such as name, location and contact details have been hidden using a privacy guard. However, there are multiple indications of the site being operated from China. Therefore, Mikidely is a relatively new website being run anonymously from a high-risk country.

The About Us page contains the same text as websites associated with the Uniqueness Scam Network and upon analyzing the content, I found that there are at least 233 similar websites, all of which are likely to be scams. The list of websites is given at the end of the article.

The About Us page also contains the below details of a company registered in Hong Kong:

Hong Kong Starrycle Network Technology Co., Limited
No. 8, 1st Floor, Hong Hui Industrial Building, 29 Luhe Street, New Po Kong, Kowloon, Hong Kong

However, the website falsely states that it operates as per the laws of the UK and the below information of Kentesh Limited are provided:

Company Name: Kentesh Ltd
Registration Number: 12948235
Company Address: Signature 15 st. Helens Place London EC3A 6DQ (this is not a returning address)

As I have revealed previously, Kentesh Limited appears to be a shell company registered from China that has been found to be associated with a large number of fake online stores, as well as other shell companies like Mexong Ltd.

When I checked the Intellectual Property Rights page of Mikidely, I found that the page was completely empty, suggesting that the site was not created by serious professionals.

Mikidely has an Instagram profile and the page details confirm that it is operated from China. I also found that Mikidely had three separate ad accounts on Facebook which have now been banned.

The Contact Us page of the website carries no information except the email ID service@mikidely.com. There are no other contact details anywhere else on the website either. Therefore, there does not seem to be any real way to contact Mikidely.

I found a few reviews for Mikidely on ScamAdviser, but the number of reviews is shockingly low considering that the site was created in October 2021. The reviewers have stated that the products were falsely advertised and that the company steals designs.

As the site seems to be operated by the Uniqueness Scam Network, customers can expect false advertising, products being shipped from China, late or no delivery, poor customer service and refusal to provide refunds. Conclusion

It is apparent that Mikidely and the 233 similar sites are all likely to be scams operated by Chinese cybercrime networks under the facade of shell companies such as Kentesh Limited registered in the UK.

Mikidely is a new site created anonymously from China in October 2021. The website owners have obscured the site’s Chinese origin and are claiming that it is managed by a UK-based business named Kentesh Limited. However, Kentesh Limited has been found to be a shell company created from China and is associated with numerous fake online shops.

The website also states that the website is managed by a Hong Kong-based company named Hong Kong Starrycle Network Technology Co., Limited, which contradicts the website’s statement in the T&C that the site operates as per UK laws.

All the content on the website is copied and the images are edited. Therefore, they are not accurate representations of the clothing that customers can expect to receive. The website also contains empty pages which suggest that it wasn’t created by genuine professionals.

Only an email ID is provided for support and customer reviews for Mikidely are exclusively negative. Customers are disappointed with the quality and it has been alleged that the company steals designs. Reviews confirm that the site is selling low-quality clothes made in China.

It is advisable to avoid shopping on Mikidely or the 252 similar sites as they do not seem to be genuine businesses.

If you think that you have been scammed by any of these sites, you can contact your bank for a full refund. Don’t accept a partial refund citing that the product is not what you ordered and refuse to ship the items back to China as the merchant claims to be located in the UK.
