Why is HeritageElements Fake?
HeritageElements is an online investment platform that claims to generate profits for investors. The website looks ridiculously fake and does not even give the slightest impression that it is a legitimate company for trading or investment. For example, the site mentions things such as stock trading and CFDs but the ‘investment plans’ mention the hashrate for cryptocurrency mining rigs. The website’s content is complete nonsense.
The returns being promised are also too good to be true. HeritageElements is promising returns as high as 10% per day with an additional 10% for ‘referral commissions’. This indicates that it could be a fraudulent pyramid investment scheme if not an outright scam.
A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 18th December 2020. The registrant’s details such as name, location and contact details have been hidden using a paid service. Therefore, it is a relatively new website that is being operated anonymously.
Even though HeritageElements clearly did not exist before 18th December 2020, there is a fake screenshot on the home page that claims that CNN ranked it as the ‘best trusted platform for Bitcoin investment’ on 13th December.
Similarly, there are fake testimonials on the home page that are dated months before the website of HeritageElements was even created.
The website’s dashboard goes a step further and shows that the platform has been active since 2012. This shows very clearly that the site was developed by a lazy amateur.
HeritageElements’s website is so pathetic and fake that even the registration form has not been created properly. The incompetent scammers operating this site could not even bother to create an actual password field that hides what you’re typing.
The website footer contains the following text:
Heritage Elements is missioned to create the best trading experience for retail and institutional clients alike allowing traders to focus more on their trading , investment and cashing out profit
I found that the same text is being used on at least 7 other investment platforms, all of which are likely to be scams. The list of sites is given at the end of the article. In fact, most of the sites are also identical in appearance, hinting that they have been created using the same template.
HeritageElements tries to appear legitimate by claiming that it is a registered company in the UK. However, the registration data given is of an unrelated company operating since 2018 that does not even provide financial management services. Therefore, HeritageElements does not seem to be a real company at all.
HeritageElements does not seem to have a social media presence. The contact details on the website include an address, email IDs and two phone numbers. The address is of the same company mentioned above and is therefore obviously fake. The phone numbers don’t seem to be active. Therefore, the real contact method is email.

It is glaringly obvious that HeritageElements and the 7 similar websites have an extremely high possibility of being scams. The returns being promised by HeritageElements are absurd and indicate that it is either a pyramid scheme or a total scam.
HeritageElements is a relatively new website created in December 2020 that is being operated anonymously. However, the website has blatantly false information such as fake news screenshots and testimonials which state that it was created before December 2020.
All of the information on the website is copied as it has been created using a cheap template. The site’s design and content are the same as several other websites, all of which appear to be scams. The entire website looks and feels like it has been created by lazy amateurs and not true professionals.
The company registration information provided is of a random unrelated company that does not even provide financial services. The contact details provided on the website are fake too. The only real way to contact HeritageElements is by email.
HeritageElements does not have any social media presence and no reviews could be found for it either. It is advisable to avoid investing with HeritageElements and the 7 similar sites as there are no signs suggesting that they are legitimate organizations. As a general rule, never send crypto to strangers.

- File a complaint with the payment portal. However, investment scammers mostly use methods such as Bitcoin, Western Union, MoneyGram and other untraceable methods which make refunds impossible.
- File a formal police complaint with the Cybercrime department.

- Report the website to Google using the Suspicious Site Reporter extension for Chrome
- Give a low rating to the website on Web of Trust. You can also install their extension for the same.
- If the company has a listing on Google My Business or Google Maps, file a complaint using the Business Redressal Complaint Form. Also, leave a negative review explaining what kind of experience you had.
