Deltacoin Limited (deltacoin.limited) is a website that claims to be a crypto investment platform. They supposedly generate profits through various means such as start-up investing, forex trading and crypto trading. This is the first sign of a scam as an unknown website claiming to have expertise in multiple fields is extremely likely to be a scam.

The site has no information about who runs the company and only mentions that platform is handled by a ‘group of exceedingly talented agents and dealers’. This is commonly seen on investment scam websites as scammers want to remain anonymous

They promise returns as laughably high as 700% every 55 days. Such returns are not realistic or sustainable and make it obvious that the website is a scam.

Deltacoin Limited also has a three-tier referral commission program where users can supposedly earn commissions on deposits made by their referrals. Referral commissions can be earned even if the referrer doesn’t have any active deposits, making it apparent that the platform may be a pyramid scheme.

A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 1st October 2022. The registrant’s details such as name and contact details have been hidden using a privacy guard. Therefore, Deltacoin Limited is a relatively new website that is being operated anonymously from an unknown country.

whois

Even though the site clearly did not exist before October 2022, the website falsely states that Deltacoin Limited was established in 2021. There is no evidence that this is true.

deltacoin limited scam fake website age

The website is poorly made and appears to be created using a cheap HYIP template, as with most fake investment platforms. The site does not have a Privacy Policy and parts of the website are still complete even though the platform has been active for months.

Upon analyzing the website’s content, I found that all the text on the website has been copied and is used on at least 45 other websites, all of which are likely to be scams. The list of sites is given at the end of the article.

missing news page

Deltacoin Limited only accepts deposits using Binance, PerfectMoney, Bitcoin and other crypto tokens, which are all unsafe payment methods as refunds are practically impossible.

unsafe payment methods

The website also contains a meaningless UK registration certificate. A UK company registration certificate means next to nothing as it is extremely easy to obtain from anywhere in the world. Genuine investment companies must be registered with a financial authority such as the FCA.

When I looked up the company’s registered address, I found that it is likely to be fake as it is the location of a residence. The company is registered under the name of ‘Nicholas Hurst’ but this name is not mentioned anywhere on the website, nor is there an online footprint such as a LinkedIn profile.

Deltacoin Limited does not have a social media presence. The following contact details are provided:

Email : Support@deltacoin.limited
Phone : +44 2032906577
Address : 134b High Street, Purley, England, CR8 2AD

The phone number is likely to be a VoIP number that can be operated from anywhere in the world. The same fake address as the registration certificate is mentioned here too.

I could not find any reviews for Deltacoin Limited on sites like ScamAdviser and Trustpilot. If you want to share your review of this platform, you can do so in the comments below or on my social media pages.

Conclusion

It seems pretty obvious that Deltacoin Limited and the 45 similar websites are likely to be scams. There are several signs suggesting it is not a genuine investment platform. The website is new and is being operated anonymously. The returns being promised are too good to be true and the three-tier referral system suggests Deltacoin Limited may be a pyramid scheme.

Unknown owners are running the site since October 2022 and there is nothing to suggest that it is a legitimate business. The website owners are lying that the company is active since 2021 even though the domain was registered in late 2022.

I discovered 45 other websites similar to Deltacoin Limited which may all be scams. There is no Privacy Policy and there is not a single team member’s name mentioned anywhere on the website. Deltacoin Limited has no social media presence and a fake company address has been provided. No reviews for the platform could be found online.

It is advisable to avoid investing with Deltacoin Limited or the 45 similar sites as there are no reasons to believe that they are genuine investment platforms. As a general rule, never send crypto to strangers as it cannot be recovered.

If you have been a victim of an investment scam, you can take the following steps:

  1. File a complaint with the payment portal. However, investment scammers mostly use methods such as Bitcoin, Western Union, MoneyGram and other untraceable methods which make refunds impossible.
  2. File a formal police complaint with the Cybercrime department.
  3. Leave a negative review on review portals such as ScamAdviser and TrustPilot.
  4. Report the website to Google using the Suspicious Site Reporter extension for Chrome
  5. Give a low rating to the website on Web of Trust. You can also install their extension for the same.
  6. If the company has a listing on Google My Business or Google Maps, file a complaint using the Business Redressal Complaint Form. Also, leave a negative review explaining what kind of experience you had.
  7. Report the scam site to web filtering companies.
