Why is Qatarcloth Fake?
Qatarcloth.com is a website that claims to be selling vintage clothing such as tops, pants, jeans and more at discounted prices. The website immediately seems like a scam as it is copying a UK-based business called Y2K Wholesale. The prices offered by Qatarcloth are too good to be true, which is often the most obvious indication of a scam.
A domain name lookup of the website shows that qatarcloth.com was registered on 9th February 2023 from China. The registrant’s other details such as name and contact information have not been provided. Therefore, it is a new website being operated anonymously from a high-risk country.
The About Us page of the website contains the following snippet:

When I analyzed the content on the website, I found that it is copied and there are at least 211 similar websites related to Qatarcloth, including an identical website called Tusuh. All these sites are likely to be scams and the list of sites is given at the end of the article.
All the content on Qatarcloth’s website seems to be copied. I found that even the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are copied, indicating that the website is not operated by a genuine business.
There are no social media pages linked on Qatarcloth’s website and I could not find any pages independently either.
The Contact Us page of the website contains only the email ID ‘service23tld@outlook.com‘ which is a free email address. The page also contains two addresses and a phone number but these are fake as they belong to Y2K wholesale. Therefore, there is no real way to contact Qatarcloth after making a purchase.
I found negative customer reviews for Qatarcloth posted on Trustpilot. Customers have mentioned that they ordered roller skates which never arrived and there is no customer support as emails bounced back.

There is an incredibly high likelihood that Qatarcloth, Tusuh and the 209 similar sites may all be scams from China. Qatarcloth is obviously a scam as it is copying a genuine business named Y2K Wholesale.
Qatarcloth is a new site created anonymously from China in February 2023. All the content on the website is copied and I found that there are at least 210 websites similar to Qatarcloth, including an identical website called Tusuh.
Qatarcloth doesn’t seem to have a social media presence. Trustpilot reviews for Qatarcloth are negative and customers have complained about not receiving their orders as well as receiving no customer support.
It is advisable to avoid shopping on Qatarcloth, Tusuh or any of the 209 similar websites as they seem to be scams.
If you think that any of these sites have scammed you, you can contact PayPal or your bank for a full refund. Don’t accept a partial refund citing that the product is not what you ordered and refuse to ship the items back to China as the merchant claims to be located in the UK.
