Why is danner-store.club Fake?
Danner-store (danner-store.club) is a website that claims to be selling Danner brand footwear at low prices. Danner-store is quite obviously a scam as danner.com is the only official online shop for Danner shoes.
There are multiple indications that Danner-store is part of the Uniqueness Scam Network of fake shopping sites created by organized Chinese cybercriminals. Danner-store’s prices are too good to be true, which is often the most obvious indication of a scam and may suggest that the website sells counterfeits.
A domain name lookup of the website shows that danner-store.club was registered on 9th December 2023. The registrant’s details such as name, location and contact details have been hidden using a privacy guard. However, there are reasons to believe that the site is operated from China, which are revealed later in the article. Therefore, it is a new website being run anonymously from a high-risk country.
When I checked the About page, I found that it contains the same text as websites associated with the Uniqueness Scam Network and upon analyzing the content, I found that there are at least 349 similar active websites, all of which may be scams. The list of websites is given at the end of the article.

The email ID originates from some random inactive domain which has a name that sounds Chinese. The phone number is likely to be random and fake too as there is no reason to believe that danner-store.club operates from the USA. Therefore, there is no real way to contact danner-store after making a purchase.
I could not find any customer reviews for danner-store on sites such as ScamAdviser, Trustpilot and others. As the site seems to be operated by the Uniqueness Scam Network, customers can expect false advertising, products being shipped from China, late or no delivery, poor customer service and refusal to provide refunds. It is quite obvious that Danner-store and the 349 similar sites are likely to be scams operated by Chinese cybercrime networks.
Danner-store is a new site created anonymously in December 2023 and is pretending to be an official online outlet for Danner footwear despite having no relation to the brand. The prices are too good to be true and the site may be selling counterfeits.
There are signs that it is operated by organized Chinese cybercriminals. The website content is copied and the same text has been found on hundreds of fake online stores, many of which have been confirmed to be scams. I found that there are at least 349 active websites using the same content as Danner-store and are likely to be operated by the same fraudsters.
There is no real way to contact Danner-store after making a purchase and no customer reviews could be found online either.
It is advisable to avoid shopping on Danner-store or any of the 349 similar sites as they do not seem to be genuine businesses.
If you think that you have been scammed by any of these sites, you can contact PayPal or your bank for a full refund. Don’t accept a partial refund citing that the product is not what you ordered and refuse to ship the items back to China as the merchant claims to be located in the USA.
