Why is Coin-tub Fake?

YouTube video

Coin-tub is a website that claims to pay users for watching videos. The website states that users who sign up on the platform can earn up to $7 per day, plus extra in the form of referral bonuses. As Coin-tub claims to pay users for watching videos, it is automatically a scam as paying users to watch videos is a form of fraud called click fraud.

Coin-tub also offers a $5 sign-up bonus, but there is an $80 threshold before users can request a payout. As each video view pays less than $1, users will have to watch more than 75 videos before they can get paid.

A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 15th February 2022. The registrant’s location is mentioned as Charlestown, Saint Kitts and Nevis. Other details such as name and contact information have not been provided. Therefore, it is a new website that is being operated anonymously.

The site is designed quite poorly and uses deceptive tactics to persuade users to sign up. For example, there is a fake timer which implies that the user will not receive the $5 sign-up bonus unless they register within the next minute. In reality, the timer just resets to 1 minute as soon as it reaches zero.

I found a review about a scam site called Earntub, com which contained the same text. Navigating to Earntub.com now redirects to Coin-tub, confirming that Earntub and Coin-tub are the same scam.

Coin-tub’s website contains absolutely no company information. There aren’t even any contact details given for user support. This shows that Coin-tub is not a professional operation.

The Terms & Conditions page mentions that the site is run from Papua New Guinea, which contradicts the domain registration information that coin-tub.com was registered in Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Coin-tub does not have any social media presence. Reviews on ScamAdviser and TrustPilot also confirm that Coin-tub and Earntub are scams. Users have complained that they were locked out of their accounts as soon as they reached the withdrawal threshold. Therefore, Coin-tub is a fraudulent platform that works done by users without paying them.

The reviews also mention names of sites such as cash-tub.com and money-tub.com that are the same sites under different names.

Conclusion

It is glaringly obvious that Coin-tub, Cash-tub, Earntub and Money-tub are all scams. These sites are new and are being run anonymously. The site claims to pay users for watching videos which is a form of fraud in itself. What’s worse is that these sites don’t even pay the users after they have wasted their time watching videos.

The sites promise a $5 sign-up bonus but there is also an $80 withdrawal threshold, which means users have to watch more than 75 videos before they can request a payout. There is no information about the company running the site, there is no proper contact information and there are no social media pages either.

It is advisable to avoid signing up on Coin-tub, Cash-tub, Earntub and Money-tub and similar websites, as they are scams that will waste hours of your time and never pay.
