Why are Westlandweed & Royal-hub Fake?
A supporter of Fake Website Buster sent me a request to review Westlandweed & Royal-hub with the following message:
Westlandweed will request payment via crypto or IBAN (UK account) (min payment of 200 eur)
After payment they will send a track and trace for royal-hub.com which is fake and after a few days royal-hub will request more money to insure the package (400 eur)
As per the background provided, it seems clear that Westlandweed is a fake online dispensary being used in tandem with Royal-hub, a fake logistics company, to trap victims in Advance Fee Scams. I took a deeper look into these websites to identify red flags.
Westland Weed (westlandweed-com) Review
Westlandweed-com is a low-quality website with strange prices that are either too low or too high. ‘Too good to be true’ prices are often the most obvious sign of a scam. There are also inconsistencies between the products descriptions and images
Upon analyzing the website content, I found that there are at least 31 other online dispensary websites using the same content as Westlandweed, all of which may be scams. The list of sites is given at the end of the article.
A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 15th October 2020. The registrant’s details such as name and contact details are not provided. The location is listed as California, USA but this is likely to be fake. Therefore, Westlandweed is a relatively new website that seems to be providing fake information.
Westlandweed only accepts payments using International Bank Transfer, Bitcoin and Moneygram which is a major red flag as these are unsafe payment methods where refunds are difficult or impossible.
Westlandweed does not have any social media presence. The Contact Us page of the website provides the following information:

These details are extremely sketchy as no address has been provided despite claiming to have multiple locations. The customer service rep is only named as ‘Dr. John’ and is therefore anonymous.
I found the phone number provided is a VoIP line that can be operated from anywhere in the world, which means that the scammers could be based in any country.
I found several negative customer reviews for Westlandweed on ScamAdviser. The reviewers have stated that it is a scam as they never received their orders. If you want to share your review of this site, you can do so in the comments below or on my social media pages.
Royal Hub Transport & Logistics (royal-hub.com) Review
Royal-hub.com is a website related to Westlandweed and possibly other fake online dispensaries. A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 10th January 2022. The registrant’s details such as name, location and contact details have been hidden using a privacy guard.
Even though it is clear that Royal-hub did not exist before January 2022, the website falsely claims that the company is operational since at least 2013. The footer also provides a false date of 2021. These are clear signs that Royal-hub is not the website of a genuine organization.
Royal-hub claims to be located in the Netherlands. Strangely, however, a USA phone number is provided for communication. I found that this number is a VoIP line that can be operated from anywhere in the world.
The Contact Us page of the website makes it obvious that Royal-hub is a scam as it provides the name of a completely different company called Sprint Hub. Such nonsense is common on scam websites as scammers create several identical websites with different names.
I found several negative reviews for Royal-hub on ScamAdviser where the reviewers have stated that they got scammed by paying for an ‘insurance policy’ as the scammers blocked them after the payment was made.
Conclusion
It seems quite obvious that Westlandweed, Royal-hub and the numerous similar websites are fake and designed to trap online shoppers in Advance Fee Scams. Westlandweed is a shady online dispensary created in late 2020 that only accepts payment via non-refundable methods. The prices on the website are too good to be true and multiple customers have stated that it is a scam.
Royal-hub is a fake logistics company that claims to be based in Netherlands which is likely to be operated by the same scammers behind Westlandweed. Reviewers have stated that Royal-hub blocked them after they made payments to insure the package.
Both the websites used copied content and there are several similar websites which may also be scams. No real company information is provided on either of the sites and both use virtual phone lines for communication. This means that the scammers are not based in USA or Netherlands as they claim to be.
It is advisable to avoid making payments to Westlandweed, Royal-hub or any of the similar websites there are several signs suggesting that they are scams or likely to be scams.
