Online Electronics Store
Is Tramthuyp Fake or Real?
Why Is Tramthuyp Fake?
Tramthuyp is a hideous-looking website with a nonsensical name. The creators of the website have not put any effort into the design or the naming, which is often the first sign of a scam.
It claims to be selling home and baby products, but most of the items on the site are electronics. The page title states that it is the ‘biggest supplier of home products’ but this is obviously not true as no one has heard of Tramthuyp.
The product images on the site have been lifted from various sources such as eBay. The prices are much lower than those of competitors even if you compare with used products. ‘Too good to be true’ prices are often the most obvious sign of a scam.
A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 8th February 2021. Some registrant details have been provided, but these seem to be fake.
The details given are of an individual and not a company. The address is of a residence in the USA and the contact information is a free Gmail ID. These details are not mentioned anywhere on the website either. Therefore, it is a new website that is being operated anonymously.
There is not a single piece of original content on the website. The About Us page contains the following text:
We are proud of the quality and consistency of the product and service provided to our customers and we are here to make your online shopping experience excellent. On our online store, there is a great selection. With many years of experience in the direct relationship with the manufacturer’s supplier and our customers, we always show our profession so that you can feel better when you shop here.

This same text can be found on at least 70 other websites, all of which may be scams. The list of sites is given at the end of the article.
An IP address analysis of these sites shows that 46 out of 67 (68.6%) websites analyzed have shared or neighbouring IP addresses. This suggests that Tramthuyp is among a large network of scam websites operated by the same owners.
There is no reason to believe that Tramthuyp is a genuine brand or company. The website does even have a Terms of Service document. The other documents such as the Shipping & Returns policy seem to be fake.
For example, it is prominently stated at the top of the website that Tramthuyp provides ‘UP TO 30 DAYS REFUND. GUARANTEE!’ However, the Shipping & Returns policy states that returns will only be accepted within 14 days of delivery. Such egregious errors imply that Tramthuyp is not a genuine company.
There checkout process on the website is also very suspicious. Firstly, they have given a fake discount code that is shown as ‘expired’ why you try to apply it.
When I tried to make a payment, it said that my region is not supported. This is alarming because I entered a USA address during checkout. This should not be an issue as the domain registration information given is also of the USA. This hints that Tramthuyp may not really be an American company.
Tramthuyp does not seem to have a social media presence. There are social media links and even app download links given on the website, but these are fake as they lead nowhere.
There are multiple things wrong with the Contact Us page. The only contact method provided on the website is the email address ‘firstname.lastname@example.org’.
It is never a good sign when the email ID does not match the website. Curiously, it has been formatted as an image, presumably so that it is undetected by search engines.
Customerservicemode.com is an inactive website. However, when I tested the email ID, it was found to be working. It was also found that the same email ID has been used on a number of other websites that have been identified as scams.
The only review for Tramthuyp that I could find is written by a customer who has apparently been scammed. They were charged double their order amount and it seems that Tramthuyp’s customer support is non-existent.
All the signs point toward Tramthuyp being a scam. The website has an unpronounceable name and terrible website design that no self-respecting brand would have. The website has been created in February 2021 and fake details have been provided for domain registration.
The images have been lifted from sites like eBay and the prices simply cannot be real. Tramthuyp’s prices are lower than even those of used products on competing sites, which is a strong indication that it is a scam.
The text content is copied too and the same text can be found on at least 70 other websites. A majority of these sites have shared or neighbouring IP addresses, which suggests that they form a scam network operated by the same owners.
The website header promises a 30-day refund guarantee, while the Shipping & Returns policy states that Tramthuyp has a 14-day return policy. Such glaring contradictions suggest that Tramthuyp is not a genuine company.
The only contact information provided is an email ID of the domain Customerservicemode. Not only it is abnormal to use the email ID of a different website for customer support, the email address has also been formatted as an image so as to be undetectable by search engines. A search for the email ID reveals that it has been used on several other websites that have been determined to be scams.
There are several social media icons and even app download links on the website, but they don’t work at all.
There is only one review available for Tramthuyp and it is from a customer claiming that they have been scammed. They have stated that they were charged double the order amount and never received a reply to emails.
It is advisable to avoid shopping on Tramthuyp or any of the 70 related websites, as there are high odds of them being scams.
