Why Is Rosoutlets Fake?
Rosoutlets is a website that claims to be an online women’s clothing and accessories store. The home page displays some shoes and jackets as their new arrivals and bestsellers. The website is poorly-made and is not even optimised for mobile. The images are also low-quality, which could mean that they have been stolen from other websites. The website logo simply says ‘Fashion’.
A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 7th August 2020. The registrant’s name and location have been hidden for privacy.
A google image search showed that the products listed on the website are not unique and can be found on several other websites. In major stores like AliExpress, the products I checked are listed as out of stock.
The About Us page of the website has the following text:
We are a professional and reliable online shopping center providing a variety of hot selling products
This same text is being used by at least 206 other online stores, including websites, Facebook pages and Instagram profiles. Some of these names looked familiar and it turns out that in one of my previous reviews, they have been found to be scams as part of the ProbRW network. The full list is given at the end of the article.
There are some social media links given in the footer of the website, but they are dummy icons that don’t lead to any social media profiles. The Contact Us page only has a contact form. No email ID, phone number or address has been provided.
There are no user reviews available for Rosoutlets, presumably because it is such a new website.
Considering the information at hand, it is extremely likely that Rosoutlets is a scam. The website is low-quality. The images seem to be copied from other websites. The text used in the About Us page of the website is also being used by 206 other online stores, many of which have previously been found to be scams. Rosoutlets does not provide any contact details and the social media icons on the website don’t work. There are no user reviews available that can vouch that it is a genuine website. It is advisable to avoid shopping on Rosoutlets as the signs suggest that there are high chances of it being a scam.

How to Get Your Money Back from a Scam
Remember: If something seems too good to be true, it probably is.
If you have been the victim of an ecommerce scam, you can take the following steps:
- Lodge a complaint at the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal
- File a complaint with the payment portal and ask whether the payment can be reversed.
- File a complaint with the Consumer Complaints Forum
- Leave a negative review on review portals such as Scamadviser, TrustPilot, OnlineThreatAlerts and SiteJabber
- Report the website to Google using the Suspicious Site Reporter extension for Chrome
- Give a low rating to the website on Web of Trust. You can also install their extension for the same.
