The Orderplus Scam Network is a collection of online clothing stores which have numerous complaints against them. The company behind these websites is Orderplus International Ltd. based in Hong Kong. The modus operandi of this company is to create clothing websites which sell clothing items, especially women’s clothing, at low prices. The products are either never delivered or are of low quality.
They attract traffic through Facebook ads and once an order is placed, they either don’t deliver items at all or pull a bait-and-switch. The surprising part is that they seem to be in operation since at least 2016 and aren’t non-descript like the majority of scam websites. The company has been registered in Hong Kong and their websites have a presence on blogs and coupon websites.
The websites are decently designed and don’t have the regular hallmarks of a scam. There is no broken English, no low-resolution images, no empty pages, no missing contact information or any other obvious signs of a scam.
However, just a simple search for ‘Orderplus International Limited’ on Google sends all the skeletons tumbling out of the closet. There are thousands of complaints from angry customers and all their websites have below-average reviews.
The same few complaints are echoed across the board. Orders not being delivered, missing items, damaged clothing and low-quality products are some of the frustrations shared by umpteen unhappy customers. Some of these complaints are about websites which are no longer active. This suggests that Orderplus International abandons sites regularly and sets up new ones. Aquilabuy.com, Missiapick.com, Sallysty.com Sonicbig.com and Tidebuy.com are some of their dead websites.
It seems that the negative reviews are catching up with Orderplus International and they have gone into damage control mode. TrustPilot has several reviews which look like sad attempts to salvage the ratings of the websites, or possibly mislead potential customers.
As they keep dumping old websites and creating new ones, it’s difficult to compile a comprehensive list of all the stores. An easy way to identify websites in this network is to check the contact information. They all display the same company name and phone number, which is +1(888)553-5616. Reviewers have mentioned that they use the same name for their PayPal account too, so keep an eye out if you’re paying through PayPal.
