Online Data Entry Job Provider
Is OnlineDataEntryJob.com Fake or Real?
Why is OnlineDataEntryJob Fake?
OnlineDataEntryJob.com is the website of a company that calls itself simply Online Data Entry Job. There is no attempt at branding to make themselves stand out from countless other companies that claim to provide the same kind of jobs. It is most probably an attempt at search engine optimization (SEO) to show up at the top of google search results whenever anyone searches for ‘online data entry job’.
As we have seen with similar companies like SmartWorkOnline, BPO Projects India and Home Job Experts, such websites tend be scams. Their modus operandi is to promise big payouts for simple jobs that require no qualifications. The caveat is that job seekers have to pay an amount in advance for fake reasons such as memberships, packages, security deposits and more. After receiving the payment, you will either never hear from them again or they will refuse to release your payment after the work is completed. Is OnlineDataEntryJob any different? Let’s find out.
OnlineDataEntryJob makes all the same claims as the other websites which have already been reviewed on this blog. They say that you can start working on their site for free and get daily payments.
A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 21st August 2015. All other details such as the registrant’s name and address have been hidden, so there is no information on the people behind the organization.
The website traffic data shows that it has been operational since 2016 but has picked up traffic only in 2019. The highest traffic has been in recent months and is possibly due to many people looking for online jobs amid the CoViD-19 lockdown.
They also have a list of recent payments which mentions personal details of people like their name and city. This list can easily be faked and there is no way to verify whether they have actually made any payments.
When you sign up on the site, you can immediately start working and supposedly earn ₹10 per job. The requirement for the payout is that you have to have a minimum of ₹3,000 in your account.
This means that you have to complete at least 300 jobs before you can ask for a payout. The job is mindless copy-pasting work which doesn’t seem to have any real-life purpose. The point of such work is to make you invest your time. When you complete 300 jobs and request a payout, they will ask you to pay a security deposit.
When they say that you can work for free, it is a lie. You have to make a payment of ₹399 before you can withdraw your earnings. This makes it extremely likely to be a scam, as we have seen with other examples on this website.
There are no contact details given on the website except for an email ID. There is no official company name, address or phone number mentioned which could be used to track them down.
There are plenty of negative reviews for OnlineDataEntryJob on sites like SiteJabber, MouthShut, Consumer Complaints, Web of Trust and ScamAdviser by people who have paid the security deposit but didn’t receive any payments.
There is little doubt that OnlineDataEntryJob is a scam. They operate the same way as so many other data entry job scams. They are falsely claiming that you can work for free as they ask for a ₹399 security deposit which will never be refunded. There are no details given about the company itself. Please don’t waste your time and money by signing up on OnlineDataEntryJob.com
