Why is Oenthu Fake?
Oenthu is a website that claims to be selling an assortment of mass-produced Chinese goods at discounted rates. There are multiple indications that Oenthu is part of the Uniqueness Scam Network of fake shopping sites created by organized Chinese cybercriminals.
A domain name lookup of the website shows that oenthu.com was registered on 17th April 2023 from Hunan, China. The registrant’s other details such as name and contact information have not been provided. Therefore, it is a new website being operated anonymously from a high-risk country.
Even though it is apparent that Oenthu is operated from China, the Terms of Service page falsely states that the site operates as per the laws of Ireland. The page also contains the company details of Fadel-Beatty Limited, which a Chinese shell company associated with a large network of scam online stores.
The following company details of Fadel-Beatty Limited have been provided:

Company Address: SUITE 10542, BALMORAL INDUSTRIAL ESTATE, ABBEYLANDS SOUTH, NAVAN MEATH, C15 DD72, IRELAND (this is not a returning address)
Fadel-Beatty Limited was registered in Ireland from China and has been found to be part of the Uniqueness Scam Network, which is a Chinese cybercrime syndicate that operates thousands of scammy websites through shell companies registered in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Cyprus, Hong Kong and more.
There is more evidence that Oenthu is part of a large network of dubious websites, as names of emails of other online stores such as ‘Toponesale’ and ‘Pukrtyuo’ can be found on the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and other important pages. Such amateurish oversights indicate that none of the websites are genuine businesses and exist only to deceive customers.
The About Us page of Oenthu contains only the below information:

I am unsure whether Layla Limited is a real company as I could not find any registration information. The phone number is registered in Utah, USA which makes no sense. Therefore, this information is likely to be completely fake.
Even more nonsensically, the website name is mentioned as ‘Clanks’ everywhere instead of ‘Oenthu’, giving further reason to believe the website is operated by scammers and not a legitimate business. When I analyzed the content on the website, I found that there are at least 109 similar websites related to Oenthu, Layla Limited and Fadel-Beatty Limited, all of which are likely to be scams. The list of sites is given at the end of the article.
There are social media links present on Oenthu’s website but they are fake as they lead nowhere. However, I found that at least three Facebook pages for it exist and are being used for running advertisements on Facebook and Instagram. The page information confirms that the Facebook pages originate from China but fake information has been provided to mislead Facebook users.
The Contact Us page of the website contains only the details of Layla Limited and Fadel-Beatty Limited. Therefore, there is no real way to contact Oenthu after making a purchase.
I could not find any customer reviews for Oenthu online. However, there are hundreds of negative reviews about Fadel-Beatty’s websites. Common customer complaints include false advertising, products being shipped from China, late or no delivery, poor customer service and refusal to provide refunds.

Conclusion
There is an enormously high likelihood that Oenthu and the 110+ similar sites may all be scams from China operating behind the façade of shell companies such as Fadel-Beatty Limited and Layla Limited. Oenthu is obviously a scam as the website is operating under various different brand names such as ‘Clanks’, ‘Toponebag’ and ‘Pukrtyuo’, and multiple company names registered in Hong Kong and Ireland.
Oenthu is a new site created anonymously from China in April 2023. The details of ‘Layla Limited’ supposedly based in Hong Kong are provided but no registration details for it could be found, implying it may not exist. The website also tries to give a false impression that it operates as per the laws of Ireland, However, it is actually run by a Chinese shell company named Fadel-Beatty Limited which is associated with thousands of confirmed scam websites. I found that there are 110+ active websites similar to Oenthu and related to Fadel-Beatty Limited which may all be scams.
Oenthu is being advertised on Facebook and Instagram and I found that it has at least three Meta advertising accounts. I could not find any customer reviews.
It is advisable to avoid shopping on Oenthu or any of the 110+ similar websites as they seem to be scams. Going by the track record of sites associated with Fadel-Beatty Limited, customers are likely to be bait-and-switched with inferior goods or may receive nothing at all.
If you think that any of these sites has scammed you, you can contact PayPal or your bank for a full refund. Don’t accept a partial refund citing that the product is not what you ordered and refuse to ship the items back to China as the merchant claims to be located in Ireland.
