Why is Kozsly Fake?
Kozsly is a website that claims to be selling dresses at discounts. The website looks like another scam shop set up under the Uniqueness Scam Network of fake online stores from China. For example, the videos and images being used to promote the clothing are stolen from Instagram and it is likely that Kozsly is selling counterfeits.
A domain name lookup of the website shows that kozsly.com was registered on 18th March 2023. The registrant’s details such as name, location and contact details have been hidden using a privacy guard. Therefore, Kozsly is a relatively new website operated anonymously from a high-risk country.
The About Us page falsely mentions that Kozsly was founded in 2016, which impossible as the site did not exist before March 2023. More importantly, I found that it contains text that has previously been found on sites in the Uniqueness Scam Network. There are at least 111 similar websites using the same text active at the same time, all of which are likely to be scams. The full list of sites is given at the end of the article.
Even though it is apparent that Kozsly is a Chinese-run website selling Made-in-China products, the owners of the site are trying to create a fake impression that the company is based in the UK. The Terms & Conditions page states that the site operates as per UK laws and the below company details of Econ Technology Ltd have been provided:

When I looked up the company information of Econ Technology Ltd., I found that it shows the following signs of being a Chinese shell company created to launder money from scams to China:
- The company was incorporated in March 2020, three years before Kozsly’s website was created
- The registered address has changed multiple times, indicating that they are virtual addresses
- The company is owned by a Chinese national Dongyang Xu
- The company ‘Nature of Business’ is nonsensically listed as things like ‘wholesale of machinery’ and ‘software development’.
While testing the checkout process, I discovered that the PayPal account associated with Kozsly is named ‘JOYOUPIN’. This name sounds suspiciously Chinese and is not mentioned anywhere on the website.
Though the website does not link to any social media profiles, I found that Kozsly has two different Facebook pages operated from China which are being used for running advertisements on Facebook and Instagram.
The Contact Us page of the website contains a Vietnamese address and the email ID ‘kozsly@serviceonline.vip‘ which is a huge red flag as email IDs originating from the domain ‘serviceonline.vip’ are associated with hundreds of confirmed scam websites. Therefore, there is no real way to contact Kozsly after making a purchase.

Going by past reviews of sites in the Uniqueness Scam Network, it is likely that customers will be bait-and-switched with low-quality goods or counterfeits. Common complaints with these sites include false advertising, late or no delivery, poor customer service and refusal to provide refunds.
Conclusion
It is extremely likely that Kozsly and the 111 similar sites may all be scams operated by the Uniqueness Scam Network from China under the guise of shell companies such as Econ Technology Ltd.
Kozsly is a new site created anonymously from China in March 2023. The website is poorly-made and the products are depicted using videos and images stolen from Instagram. The entire website content is duplicated and the same can be found on numerous scam websites.
There are multiple signs suggesting that Kozsly is a Chinese operation, but it has been misleadingly stated that the website is operated by Econ Technology Ltd. registered in the UK, which is actually a Chinese shell company. I found that there are 111 websites related to Kozsly which may all be scams.
The website does not link to any social media pages, but I found that Kozsly has two separate Facebook pages operated from China. The pages are being used for running advertisements on Facebook and Instagram.
There are no customer reviews for Kozsly and there is no way to contact the company after making the purchase. Only an email ID has been provided for support and identical email IDs have been confirmed to be associated with fake Chinese online stores.
It is advisable to avoid shopping on Kozsly or any of the 111 similar websites as they do not seem to be genuine businesses.
If you think that you have been scammed by any of Econ Technology Ltd’s sites, you can contact PayPal or your bank for a full refund. Don’t accept a partial refund citing that the product is not what you ordered and refuse to ship the items back to China as the merchant claims to be located in the UK.
