Why Is Giftusa Store Fake?
Giftusa Store is a website that claims to be selling home and garden decorations. The website is of unbelievably low quality and does not appear professional in the least. For example, the website’s home page does not list any products and the ‘Shop Now’ button leads to an invalid page.
The product images being sold on the website are stolen pictures of creations by genuine artists. For example, Giftusa Store is selling the ‘Bohemian Lamp’ – an item commonly seen on Chinese scam sites – for $33.99, whereas the picture they have shown is of a lamp by Amberlights UK that costs more than $1,300.
The domain name information of Giftusa Store shows that it was registered on 8th October 2021, supposedly by an organization named ‘Mi Jia An’ in Nei Menggu, China. Therefore, it is an extremely new website of questionable authenticity that is being operated from a high-risk country.

There are several things wrong on this page. Firstly, two website names are mentioned – locoeasy.com and gifusa.store – and both of them are wrong because the URL of the site is giftusa.store (‘gift’, not ‘gif’). Also, locoeasy.com redirects back to giftusa.store.
Secondly, the information of a company based in Shenzen has been provided. However, this conflicts with the domain registration information which shows that Giftusa Store was registered in Nei Menggu and not Shenzen.
Thirdly, the text given on the page is the same as that used by the Uniqueness Scam Network which I have written about extensively in the past. I found that there are at least 236 websites using the same text. Qti.Ai’s Scami revealed that there are at least 208 additional sites using this text too, all of which are likely to be scams. The full list of sites is given at the end of the article.
The product listing pages on Giftusa Store’s website mention that prices being offered are only available for one day. However, this is a cheap tactic to create a false sense of urgency by declaring fake discounts. I checked the website on two different days and there was no change in the prices.
The website footer states that the site has been created using Shoplazza. The PayPal account associated with the Giftusa Store has the name ‘深圳市易路安科技有限公司’ which translates to ‘Shenzhen Yiluan Technology Co., Ltd.’. These reaffirm the fact that Giftusa Store is run from China.
Even though it is abundantly clear that Giftusa Store is a Chinese operation, the Terms of Service page nonsensically mentions that the website’s ‘Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of UK’. This is probably a remnant of the fact that Chinese scam sites carry details of UK shell companies to mislead shoppers.
The Terms of Service page also contains references to locoeasy.com.
Even though there are no social media pages listed on the website, I found that Giftusa Store has a Facebook page created in October 2021. The page is once again incorrectly named Giftusa.store. It has 0 likes and will likely be used for advertising on Facebook and Instagram in the future. The page information carries the details of a Chinese company, however, this information is completely different from what is given on the website.
I also found that there are two separate pages for Locoeasy, with both promoting different categories of products. One of the page also shows that it is managed from locations other than China, which is obviously a deception.
The Contact Us page contains nothing but an email ID ‘navacand40@gmail.com‘. This is a free email ID and not a professional one. I also found that this email ID can be found on 15 other websites, hinting once more that Giftusa Store is likely to be part of a network of Chinese online stores created by the same owners.
I could not find any customer reviews for Giftusa Store, which is not surprising considering that it is a brand new website. If you want to share your review of this site, you can do so in the comments below or on my social media pages.
Going by past reviews of sites in the Uniqueness Scam Network, it is likely that customers will be bait-and-switched with disappointing replicas of what they ordered. Common complaints with these sites include false advertising, late or no delivery, poor customer service and refusal to provide refunds.
Conclusion
It is tremendously likely that Giftusa Store and the 460 similar sites are all likely to be scams belonging to the Uniqueness Scam Network run by criminal organizations from China.
Giftusa Store is a new site created in October 2021 from China. The website does not give the impression that it was created by professionals and it is using images stolen from genuine artists and creators to advertise counterfeits.
All the content on the website is copied as the text and other details such as email IDs can also be found on hundreds of other sites. With help from Qti.ai’s Scami, I found that there are at least 460 websites that have the same content as Giftusa Store.
Even though the website does not link to any social media pages, Giftusa Store has a Facebook with 0 followers that has probably been created for advertising on Facebook and Instagram. The page information carries the name and address of a Chinese company but this information does not match the company details given on the website. Further, the PayPal account belongs to another completely different company.
No reviews for Giftusa Store could be found online. However, websites in the Uniqueness Scam Network are infamous for pulling bait-and-switch scams and then refusing refunds. It is advisable to avoid shopping on Giftusa Store or any of the 460 similar websites as there are almost no reasons to believe that they are trustworthy.
If you feel that you have been scammed by any of these sites, you can contact Paypal or your bank for a full refund. Don’t accept a partial refund citing that the product is not what you ordered and refuse to ship the items back as you didn’t know it would be shipped from China.
