Is Easy Typing Job Fake or Real?
Why is Easy Typing Job Fake?
Easy Typing Job is a website that claims to be a platform for users to earn by doing typing tasks. The website is quite poorly made and does not seem professional as it contains numerous spelling & grammar errors. Easy Typing jobs claims to be a legitimately registered company, but there is no registration information given. Therefore, it seems to be a lie. Besides, any platform that explicitly states that it is legit is very likely to be a scam.
A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 30th July 2016. However, traffic data shows that the website stopped operating completely between January 2018 to January 2020.
The domain registration information also provides the names, locations and contact details of two people named Gina Thomas and Carolyn Miller. However, these details are extremely likely to be fake. This is because one of the phone numbers does not seem to be active, the addresses are fake and both people are using the same email ID. This email ID seems to be of a third person named Geraldine Wilson.
Easy Typing Job gets even more suspicious when you read the FAQs. The platform gives the impression that users can earn for free. In reality, a minimum payment of $50 is required to ‘upgrade’ your account and withdraw your earnings.
Oneo f the upgrade options is the Gold package, where they claim you can pay once and earn forever without working. This is quite ridiculous and makes it seem quite obvious that the platform is a scam. There are also a few discrepancies between what the FAQs say and the package details. This, once again, shows that Easy Typing Jobs is not run by professionals.
After signing up and logging into the platform, somehow things got even worse. The first thing a user sees is the option to ‘Invest in Crypto’. Not only is this vague and unrelated to a typing job, the scam becomes even more obvious when you see that they are offering plans that promise to double your investment in incredibly short timeframes such as 1 hour.
After signing up on the platform, I received an email with a verification code. The email was sent from a Gmail ID and not an official ID of Easy Typing Jobs.
The website has a Testimonials section containing several videos. These are obviously fake testimonials that have been paid for as not a single one of them shows any proof of withdrawal.
Easy Typing Jobs does not have a social media presence and no contact details are given on the website. The only way to get in touch with them is via a contact form.
There are several reviews for Easy Typing Jobs available on websites such as Scamadviser and TrustPilot. Pretty much all the reviews are negative and state that Easy Typing Jobs is a scam as they do not pay. Users who paid the minimum $50 upgrade fee were not able to withdraw their earnings and the company eventually stopped responding to their mails.
It is laughably obvious that Easy Typing Jobs is a scam. The domain name was registered in 2016, but the website was inactive for two years between January 2018 to January 2020. The website content is ridiculously poor as it is replete with errors. The FAQs say that the company is registered, but there is no proof validating this claim.
Creating an account on the platform is free, but a minimum payment of $50 is required to be able to withdraw earnings. The Gold package costing $500 supposedly gives you a ‘partner status’ and allows you to earn ‘for lifetime’ without working. As soon as you sign in, the platform gives the option to invest in crypto, which has absolutely nothing to do with typing jobs. It is also stated that these packages guarantee a 100% profit within an hour to a month, depending on the package.
The verification email received while signing up is sent from a free Gmail ID. There is no way to get in touch with the company except for a contact form, as no email ID, phone number or address is provided on the website. The website also contains fake video testimonials which do not show any proof of a successful withdrawal. The reviews on third-party websites are overwhelmingly negative as users who paid the $50 account upgrade fee did not receive any payout and got ghosted by the company.
It is advisable to avoid signing up on Easy Typing Jobs, as it is quite clearly a scam.
