EarnHUB.io is a website which promises enormous returns on investments such as 1,277% in 25 days. They claim to be a team of professional gamblers who are able to generate such profits through their experience by winning games such as Roulette, Blackjack, Poker and more.
Did you notice that the word ‘professional’ is spelt wrong? Spellcheck is free but it seems they still couldn’t afford it. Applying a little bit of logic will help you understand that anyone who can generate 100x returns in a few weeks wouldn’t need money from others as they can simply reinvest their own winnings. Right from the outset, EarnHUB.io seems like a poorly thought-out Ponzi scheme.
A domain name lookup shows that the website was registered on 1st April 2020 – April Fool’s Day. The registrant’s name and location have been hidden for privacy.
The website is very simple and consists of just a single page. There are multiple tabs where all the various details are provided. It is mentioned that investors will receive automatic payouts every day. There is also a referral program where investors can earn up to 25% commission from every investment made by their downlines.
There are no social media links provided on the page. A Google showed search showed that EarnHUB.io had a Facebook page with 3 likes, but it seems to have been taken down.
There is no contact information provided on the website except an email ID. When checked using MailTester, it was revealed that the particular mailbox given doesn’t actually exist, which could mean that it is a catch-all server.
There are some reviews for EarnHUB.io available on sites like Scamadviser and TrustPilot. The reviews are mostly positive and the users claim that they have been receiving payouts. Most of these reviewers seem to be ‘serial investors’ who are involved in multiple HYIP schemes.
It seems quite clear that EarnHUB.io is a Ponzi scheme. It’s simply common sense that gamblers who are making profits of almost 1,300% in a matter of weeks wouldn’t need outside investments. EarnHUB.io also has an affiliate program with extremely high commissions, which shows that they are desperately looking for more investors.
The explanation that the returns are made through gambling may very well be fake. There is no evidence of any money coming into the scheme other than from investors themselves, which would make this a pyramid scheme.
There is no information on who is running the website, the email ID provided seems to be fake and EarnHUB.io has no social media presence. The claims by reviewers that they are receiving payouts may be true, as it is typical of pyramid schemes to give initial payouts. This is done to increase the confidence level of investors so that they reinvest bigger amounts. There is also the possibility that the reviews might be fake.
EarnHUB.io has been in operation only for a few months. Ponzi schemes can gain momentum for years before eventually going bust. When the rate of new investors joining the scheme slows down, the revenue starts running dry. Payouts slowly decrease and one day the company disappears, taking along investors’ money. A large majority of investors in pyramid schemes end up losing their investments.
It is advisable to avoid investing in EarnHUB.io as it is extremely likely to be a Ponzi scheme.
