Online Indian Ethnic Wear Store
Is ClothFamous Fake or Real?
Why Is ClothFamous Fake?
ClothFamous is a website that claims to be selling women’s Indian ethnic wear such as kurtis, lehengas and more. The website is of extremely low-quality as it contains blatant linguistic errors and mentions the wrong URL on the topmost banner.
A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 17th October 2020. The registrant’s details such as name, location and contact details have been hidden for privacy. Therefore, it is a new website that is being operated anonymously.
The website has almost no content except for the product listings. The images of the products seem to be copied from various websites. The prices are extremely low in comparison, which is a strong signal that ClothFamous may be a scam.
ClothFamous does not seem to have a social media presence. The only contact method provided is a free Gmail ID. This looks like another sign that ClothFamous is not run by true professionals.
There are only two reviews available for ClothFamous which have been written on ComplaintLists. Both the reviews allege that ClothFamous is a scam, as money was deducted from customers’ accounts but they never received the products. Customer service has apparently not responded to their emails.
It is quite obvious that ClothFamous is a scam. The website is of extremely low quality as there are grammar & spelling errors, and shows the wrong URL on the home page. The website is new as the domain has only been registered in October 2020.
The images of the products seem to be copied from various sources. The prices look fake as they are much lower than the prices on other websites.
ClothFamous does not have a social media presence and the only contact method provided is a free Gmail ID. There are two reviews available for the website, both of which say that it is a scam. The customers have stated that their accounts were charged and they received order confirmations. However, no products were delivered and emails have gone unanswered.
