Why is Bromo Cloud Fake?

YouTube video

Bromo Cloud is a website that claims to generate profits for investors through cryptocurrency cloud mining. The platform promises returns as unbelievably high as 1% to 3% per day. Such returns are not realistic or sustainable and it is therefore obvious that the website is a scam.

Bromo Cloud also has a two-tier referral commission program where users can earn 5% to 10% commissions on deposits of their referrals. This indicates that the platform may be a pyramid scheme if not outright fraud.

A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 30th June 2022. The registrant’s details such as name, location and contact details have been hidden using a privacy guard. Therefore, Bromo Cloud is a new website that is being operated anonymously from an unknown country.

whois

Bromo Cloud’s website is so poorly made that important documentation such as the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy are missing. There is barely any content on the website that would lend credibility to Bromo Cloud as a genuine organization. The website does not even have an About Us page.

Upon analyzing the site’s content, I found that the text on the website has been copied and is being used on at least 23 other websites, all of which are likely to be scams. The list of sites is given at the end of the article. Some of these sites, such as Voskcoins, are confirmed scams.

There is absolutely no information given on Bromo Cloud’s website about the company’s management team or details like registration number and address. Bromo Cloud’s social media presence consists only of an Instagram page that seems to be hacked or purchased it has almost 1,000 followers despite posting only 6 times and being just over a month old.

There are no contact details given on the website, once again indicating that Bromo Cloud is not a real company. Apart from a form on their website, the only way to contact Bromo Cloud is through their Telegram group. As the website owners are using only anonymous methods to communicate, it appears that they are deliberately trying to hide their identity.

There are a few reviews available for Bromo Cloud on Trustpilot. However, I don’t consider them credible as the investors have a financial incentive to write positive reviews in order to recruit others and gain referral commissions. The pattern of reviews is suspicious too as several reviews have been written in a short span of time.

Conclusion

It seems quite apparent that Bromo Cloud and the 23 similar websites have a tremendously high likelihood of being scams. There are a number of signs suggesting Bromo Cloud is not a genuine cryptocurrency cloud mining firm. The returns being promised are too good to be true and there is a commission referral system, suggesting that Bromo Cloud may be a pyramid scheme.

The site is being operated anonymously since August 2022. All of the content on the website is copied and the same text can be found on at least 23 other websites, some of which are confirmed scams. The site has no Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy documents, indicating that the platform is not run by professionals.

There is no evidence that Bromo Cloud is a real company as no details about the company’s management, registration and licenses have been provided. Bromo Cloud’s social media presence is just a dubious Instagram page. The owners can only be contacted anonymously via a contact form and a Telegram group. While some investors have written positive reviews, they should be taken with a grain of salt as the pyramid-scheme-like structure incentivizes investors to try to attract others.

It is advisable to avoid investing with Bromo Cloud or the 23 similar sites as there are no reasons to believe that they are genuine cryptocurrency cloud mining firms. As a general rule, never send crypto to strangers as it cannot be recovered.
