Why is Bitmarket Ltd Fake?
Bitmarket Ltd (bitmarket.ltd) is a website that claims to generate profits for investors. The company supposedly invests in everything from crypto to forex to even crypto start-ups. The fact that Bitmarket Ltd promises returns as bizarrely high as 3,200% in 20 days makes it quite obvious that it is a fraudulent investment scheme. Such returns are simply not realistic or sustainable.
Bitmarket Ltd also has a 3% referral commission scheme which means that investors get additional returns if their referrals make deposits on the site. This hints that Bitmarket Ltd may be a pyramid scheme if not an outright scam.
A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 12th February 2022. The registrant’s details such as name, location and contact details have been hidden using a privacy guard. Therefore, it is a new website that is being operated anonymously.
Even though the domain registration data shows that it was registered in February 2022, the site itself only seems to be active since May 2022. A new and unknown website promising incredibly high returns is almost certain to be a scam.
Bitmarket Ltd tries to give the false impression that it is a legitimate company by claiming it is registered in the UK. No proof such as a company certificate has been provided to prove that this is true. In any case, a UK company registration means next to nothing as it is extremely easy to obtain from anywhere in the world. Genuine investment companies must be registered with a financial authority such as the FCA.

Upon further research, I found that the entire website’s content has been copied. There are at least 190 other websites using the same text, all of which may be scams. The list of sites is given at the end of the article.
Bitmarket Ltd does not have a social media presence. Even though there are social media icons given on the website, they are fake as they lead nowhere. The only way to contact Bitmarket Ltd is via anonymous methods such as email and Telegram. There is a UK address provided on the website but it is fake as the same address can be found on several other websites.
I could only find one review of Bitmarket Ltd online on ScamAdviser. The review is negative and alleges that the platform is a scam, but no further information has been provided. If you want to share your review of this platform, you can do so in the comments below or on my social media pages.
Conclusion
It seems quite apparent that Bitmarket Ltd and the 190 similar websites are likely to be scams. There are a number of signs suggesting that Bitmarket Ltd is run by scammers and not genuine investment professionals.
The site itself is extremely new as it is only active since May 2022. There is very little information present and all of it is copied. The same content can be found on at least 190 other websites.
Bitmarket Ltd is promising unrealistically high profits such as 3,200% in 20 days. They also have a referral commission program which is a common feature of illegal investment schemes.
The company has no social media presence and only anonymous contact information is given on the website. There is false information such as the company being registered in the UK and even the company address. The only review available online states that Bitmarket Ltd is a scam.
It is advisable to avoid investing with Bitmarket Ltd or the 190 similar sites as there are no reasons to believe that they are genuine investment platforms. As a general rule, never send crypto to strangers as it cannot be recovered.
