Why is Bitfincapital Fake?

bitfincapital.com (Bitfin Capital) is a website that claims to help investors generate profits by investing in crypto. Bitfincapital states that it is a licensed firm but there is no real proof for this given anywhere on the website. The page contains random information copied from a different website.

The investment plans promise unrealistic and unsustainable returns that are only offered by scammers. Absurdly high profits such as 3.45% per day for 45 days are impossible in the real world. Additionally, Bitfincapital also gives out referral-based commissions, which is a staple of fraudulent investment schemes.

A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 8th May 2021. The registrant’s details such as name, location and contact details have been hidden using a paid service. Therefore, it is a new website that is being operated anonymously.

whois

Even though it is obvious that Bitfincapital’s website did not exist before May 2021, the site contains blatant lies about its age. There are references to the site being active since 2018 and 2020 even though the website did not exist back then. This shows that Bitfincapital is not a genuine and professional organization.

I found that the entire website’s content has been copied from various other sources. The About Us page of the website contains the following text:

Since 2018 Bitfin Capital has strived to bring professional investment services to the world of digital assets. Leveraging the best of the team’s years of experience in FinTech along with the power of blockchain technology, Bitfin Capital empowers thousands of people to harness the value behind their crypto assets, shaping a new, better financial system.

Bitfin Capital is the world’s leading and most trusted financial institution in the decentralized finance space and has already processed more than $1.25 billion for 1,000,000+ clients in 200+ jurisdictions.

There are at least 26 other websites using the same text, all of which may be scams. The list of sites is given at the end of the article. The website content is so poorly copy-pasted that references to the original websites from where the text has been stolen still remain almost a year after the website was created.

The only company information given on the website is a company number. Upon checking the company information, I found that it belongs to a company that was dissolved in September 2021 and is therefore quite obviously fake.

Bitfincapital does not seem to have a social media presence. There are no social media pages listed on the website and I could not find any independently either. The contact information given on the website includes a fake UK address, an email ID and a Telegram ID. It is quite apparent that the scammers behind Bitfincapital are using anonymous communication methods to hide their identities.

I could not find any reviews for Bitfincapital online. If you want to share your review of this site, you can do so in the comments below or on my social media pages.

Conclusion

It seems quite clear that Bitfincapital and the 26 similar websites are tremendously likely to be scams. There are several signs suggesting that Bitfincapital is run by scammers and not genuine crypto investment managers. There is no company license shown and the company registration information provided is completely fake.

On the other hand, Bitfincapital is promising unsustainably high profits such as 3.45% daily for 45 days. The website content has been copied verbatim from legitimate fintech websites, clearly suggesting that Bitfincapital’s platform has been made by amateurish scammers.

The website is being operated anonymously and Bitfincapital is less than a year old as it was created in May 2021. However, the website blatantly lies that Bitfincapital is operational since 2018.

Bitfincapital has no social media presence and there are no client reviews available online. They are only using anonymous methods of communication such as email and Telegram to avoid revealing their true identities.

It is advisable to avoid investing with Bitfincapital and the 26 similar sites as there are no reasons to believe that they are genuine investment firms. As a general rule, never send crypto to strangers as it cannot be recovered.
