Why Is Atlas Global Solutions Fake?

Atlas Global Solutions is a company that claims to help scam victims recover their lost money. They claim that they can even recover cryptocurrency, which is something only experienced cryptocurrency lawyers can achieve. The company claims to have won 15 awards, but there is no information about which awards they have won.

A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 15th July 2019. This makes the website roughly 15 months old. Within this short span, they claim to have more than 3,200 satisfied clients and 15 awards. Such claims are impossible to verify and could easily be lies.

atlas global solutions scam whois

The website is of low-quality as it contains content copied from various websites. I found that there are at least 49 ‘asset recovery’ websites using the same content. The full list is given at the end of the article.

Atlas Global Solutions does not seem to have a social media presence. There are no contact details given on the Contact Us page of the website. However, there is an email address hidden away in the Terms & Conditions page that was found to be working. Therefore, it seems the only way to contact the company is by email. No phone number or address has been provided.

There are a few reviews available for Atlas Global Solutions on TrustPilot. The TrustPilot reviews are dodgy as all of them have been written by new accounts, no profile pictures and only 1 review each. The earliest review was written in February 2020, which reinforces the information that Atlas Global Solutions is a relatively new company.

There is only one negative review visible that claims Atlas Global Solutions is a scam. The client has alleged that they asked him for various fees and eventually stopped responding. It is also stated in the review that the company has reported the review several times to try and get it removed. Indeed, I found other reviews on the page that have been reported by Atlas Global Solutions too, making this claim believable.

It seems quite clear that Altas Global Solutions is a scam. The website contains copied content that is being used by 49 ‘asset recovery’ websites. They claim to have won 15 awards even though the website is just over 15 months old. There is also no mention of the names of the awards. Thee is no phone number or address provided and the only way to contact the company is by email or Skype.

The TrustPilot reviews look fake as they seem to all have been written by new accounts created for the purpose of giving Atlas Global Solutions a good rating. The earliest review was written in February 2020, which implies that it is a new and inexperienced company.

There is some evidence that the company abuses TrustPilot’s reporting system to take down negative reviews. Due to these reasons, it is advisable to avoid working with Atlas Global Solutions. It is highly likely to be a scam along with all the websites using the same content.

How to Get Your Money Back from a Scam

Remember: If something seems too good to be true, it probably is.

If you have been a victim of an investment scam, you can take the following steps:

  1. File a complaint with the payment portal. However, investment scammers mostly use methods such as Bitcoin, Western Union, MoneyGram and other untraceable methods which make refunds impossible.
  2. File a formal police complaint with the Cybercrime department.
  3. Leave a negative review on review portals such as Scamadviser and TrustPilot
  4. Report the website to Google using the Suspicious Site Reporter extension for Chrome
  5. Give a low rating to the website on Web of Trust. You can also install their extension for the same.
  6. If the company has a listing on Google My Business or Google Maps, file a complaint using the Business Redressal Complaint Form. Also, leave a negative review explaining what kind of experience you had.
