Why is Unitedexpresscou Fake?
Unitedexpresscou is the website of a supposed logistics company that claims to provide worldwide shipping services. The quality of the website is extremely poor. It was reported to me by a potential victim who wanted to confirm whether it is a scam. Below is her narration of the experience which sounds like she was being groomed for a year by a catfishing scammer to be defrauded out of a few thousand dollars.
As stated above, she was first directed to a fake banking site bdir.cpolitansfnc.com to create the illusion that the scammer is a wealthy individual. Then she received the below email, supposedly from the scammer’s preferred courier company which is Unitedexpresscou. It is poorly written and asks for the potential victim’s ID card, which will probably be used to trap other victims.
When I visited unitedexpresscou.com, I found that it redirects to Gmail instead. However, an entire website is hidden under the URL unitedexpresscou.com/freight which appears to be a deliberate attempt to evade detection.
A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 5th December 2018. However, looking closely at the details and verifying with the Wayback Machine reveals that the site was not operational before December 2021. The registrant’s details such as name, location and contact details have been hidden using a paid service. Therefore, it is a new website that is being operated anonymously.
In the email shown above, the company is claiming to be active since 1994 which is clearly a lie. The footer of the website also blatantly lies that the site has been active from 2019
Overall, the website appears highly unprofessional as it contains low-resolution images, spelling & grammar errors and copied content. Even the text on an important page such as About Us has been directly lifted. The home page and About Us page contain the below text:

I found that the same text is being used on at least 49 other websites, all of which may be scams The full list of sites is given at the end of the article.

I found that the address is completely fake as there are several different unrelated businesses using it. This is a strong indicator that Unitedexpresscou is not a real company.

Conclusion
It is tremendously likely that Unitedexpresscou might be a scam website operated by romance scammers. A reader reported the site to me after getting suspicious that she might be being scammed. She was in touch with the scammer for a year before he asked her to help him courier some things costing a few thousand dollars.
Unitedexpresscou is a new site created in December 2021 that is being operated anonymously. The website contains absolutely no company information. In fact, it contains a lot of false information such as a fake website age and company address.
Unitedexpresscou’s website appears to be highly unprofessional and all the content has been copied from other sources. There are 49 other websites using identical content, all of which may be scams.
It is advisable to avoid making payments to Unitedexpresscou or any of the 49 similar websites as there are several signs suggesting that they may be fake logistics companies.
