Is Trusts-wealth Fake or Real?

Fake

Why is Trusts-wealth Fake?

Trusts-wealth is a website that claims to generate profits for investors through stocks, bonds, commodities, CFDs and crypto trading. Each one of these is a seperate trade and it is unlikely that a small and unknown company such as Trusts-wealth would have expertise in multiple trading disciplines. Such nonsense is common with online investment scam websites as scammers use various buzzwords to confuse victims.

Trusts-wealth promises returns as bizarrely high as 200% in 30 days, making it obvious that it is a fraudulent investment scheme. Such unbelievable returns are not realistic or sustainable.

A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 1st August 2022. The registrantโ€™s details such as name, location and contact details have been hidden using a privacy guard. However, I will later explain why I believe that Trusts-wealth is operated from Nigeria. Therefore, it is a new website that is being operated anonymously from a high-risk country.

Even though it is clear that Trusts-wealth did not exist before August 2022, the website falsely claims that it has been operating since 2019. There is no evidence of this being true whatsoever and therefore appears to be a blatant lie.

The same lie is repeated on the testimonials given on the website. The reviews falsely state that the clients have been investing with Trusts-wealth since 2019 and 2020 which is impossible as the website did not exist before 2022. Therefore, these testimonials have been written by the scammers themselves.

Further, Trusts-wealth falsely states it is a registered and licensed entity in Germany. However, the company registration certificate is clearly fake as it has been poorly edited. The font size and colour in some parts of the text do not match the rest of the certificate. The German flag also looks like it has been randomly slapped on in Paint.

After publishing the article, a German reader pointed out that the certificate relates to postage stamps.

Trusts-wealthโ€™s website is poorly made and appears to be created using a cheap template, as with most fake investment websites created by Nigerian scammers. The home page contains the following text:

Since our inception in 2019, we have placed our clientsโ€™ interest at top priority ensuring that prompt payment of interests is maintained. We have a sole goal of maximizing profits through diversification of assets in stocks, bonds, cfds, coin trading and commodities. We are recently advancing our outreach into real-estate investment.

I found that the above text as well as all the other content on the site has been copied. There are at least 175 other websites using the same text, all of which may be scams. The list of sites is given at the end of the article.

The website is so lazily made that important pages such as Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are missing. The link in the footer for โ€˜Supportโ€™ doesnโ€™t work and clicking on โ€˜Privacy policyโ€™ leads to a random page called โ€˜Rulesโ€™. This lack of attention to detail clearly shows that Trusts-wealth is not a legitimate firm.

There is no real information given on Trusts-wealthโ€™s website about who runs the company. The names and images of the management team are quite obviously fake as the same can be found on other fake investment websites too.

Trusts-wealth does not have a social media presence. There are social media icons given on the website but they are dummies as they lead nowhere.

The contact information given on the About Us page is just the email ID โ€˜support@trusts-wealth.comโ€™. On the Contact Us page, there is completely different information of a website called Yeinholdings which no longer seems to exist. Judging by the negative Trustpilot reviews of Yeinholdings, it seems likely that it was a previous scam by the same set of scammers.

There are a few reviews of Trusts-wealth available on Trustpilot but these appear to be fake reviews written by the scammers themselves. This is because they have been written from Nigeria, which is where a large number of investment scam websites originate. Both the reviewers have also written 5-star reviews for a website called Trustewealth, which is an exact clone of Trusts-wealth.

If you want to share your review of this platform, you can do so in the comments below or on my social media pages.

Conclusion

It seems quite clear that Trusts-wealth and the 174 similar websites are incredibly likely to be scams. There are a number of signs suggesting Trusts-wealth is not a genuine trading and investment firm. Trusts-wealth promises ROIs as high as 200% in 30 days. Incredibly high returns in a short duration almost always guarantees a scam.

The site is being operated anonymously since August 2022. All of the content on the website is copied and the same text can be found on at least 175 other websites, all of which may be scams. Everything from the websiteโ€™s age to the client testimonials is fake. The site has no Terms of Service or Privacy Policy document and a fake German company certificate has been provided to appear legitimate.

The company has no social media presence and can only be contacted by anonymous methods like email or WhatsApp. No company information is given and the details of the management team are fake. Fake positive reviews have been written on Trustpilot by the scammers themselves from Nigeria.

It is advisable to avoid investing with Trusts-wealth or the 175 similar sites as there are no reasons to believe that they are genuine trading and investment firms. As a general rule, never send crypto to strangers as it cannot be recovered.

If you have been a victim of an investment scam, you can take the following steps:

  1. File a complaint with the payment portal. However, investment scammers mostly use methods such as Bitcoin, Western Union, MoneyGram and other untraceable methods which make refunds impossible.
  2. File a formal police complaint with the Cybercrime department.
  3. Leave a negative review on review portals such as ScamAdviser and TrustPilot.
  4. Report the website to Google using the Suspicious Site Reporter extension for Chrome
  5. Give a low rating to the website on Web of Trust. You can also install their extension for the same.
  6. If the company has a listing on Google My Business or Google Maps, file a complaint using the Business Redressal Complaint Form. Also, leave a negative review explaining what kind of experience you had.
  7. Report the scam site to web filtering companies.
