Why is RobloxLand Fake?

RobloxLand.xyz is a website which claims to give out promo codes for free Robux, which can be used in Roblox. The website only has a home page and there is no information about the website itself. A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 12th June 2020. The registrant’s name and location have been hidden for privacy.

robloxland xyz scam whois

RobloxLand.xyz asks you to enter your Roblox username to get free promo codes. I entered a fake username which got accepted by the system. This shows that there is no real validation or connection with your Robux account.

robloxland xyz scam step 1

In the next step, there’s a big button which says ‘Get Promo Code’, but clicking this only takes you to the step after that.

robloxland xyz scam step 2

After clicking the button, I was asked to subscribe to a YouTube channel for a promo code which wold give me 5,000 Robux. Clicking on the button opened a new window, which I closed immediately without subscribing. I was taken to the next step anyway.

step 3

Now, RobluxLand.xyz pretended to show a blurred out code. Clicking on the button to activate the promo code only took me to another step where I was asked to complete some random quizzes. The quizzes opened in a new window and even after completing two quizzes, the counter on the RobloxLand page was stuck at 0.

It seems quite obvious that RobloxLand.xyz is a scam. The website makes users jump through hoops for a promo code which is never actually given. It looks like a cheap ploy to earn money for the website owner by getting others to complete quizzes and surveys under the false pretence of giving out free Robux. It is advisable to not waste your time on this website as it is likely a scam.

Remember: If something seems too good to be true, it probably is.
