Why Is Podium Recovery Fake?
Podium Recovery is a website that claims to offer fund recovery services for victims of scams. It was already detected as a possible scam while reviewing similar companies named QuickRecoveryAdvocate & FinanceAssetRecovery. In this article, I will go into detail about why Podium Recovery is a fake website.
A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 13th July 2019. The registrant’s details have been provided, but these are most likely fake. The reason for this is that the address is not real, as we will see later, and the contact details provided look like they belong to an individual from Africa and not America.
Even though the domain name has only been registered in 2019, the website footer claims that it has been active since 2017. This is clearly a lie.
The content on the website has been copied as the same can be found on at least 11 other websites. The list of these sites is given at the end of the article.
The testimonials given on the website are fake, as they can also be found on at least 13 other websites.
Podium Recovery does not seem to have a social media presence. The contact details provided on the website include a phone number, address and email ID. The email ID was found to be working when tested.
However, the TrueCaller information for the phone number shows that it is a virtual VoIP number that can be operated from anywhere in the world. This means that whoever is running Podium Recovery is most likely not situated in the USA at all. The address was found to be completely fake, as there is no office located there.
There are no reviews available for Podium Recovery. It is quite odd that a company that has been active for 1½ years does not have a single client who is vouching for it online.
It seems quite obvious that Podium Recovery is a scam. The registrant’s details provided in the domain registration are of a fictional person in the USA. However, the registrant’s contact details suggest that the website has actually been registered in Africa.
The website claims that the company is running since 2017, but this is impossible as the domain name was only registered in mid-2019. All the content on the website is copied and the testimonials are fake too, as the same content can be found on at least 22 websites.
The contact details provided are fake too. Though Podium Recovery tries to portray itself as an American company, the phone number is a virtual number that can be operated from outside America. The address provided is not real either as there is no office at the specified location.
No review for Podium Recovery could be found, which is quite odd for a company that is operating for a year and a half. It is advisable to avoid hiring the services of Podium Recovery, as it does not seem to be a real company. It is most likely a secondary scam operated by investment scammers to exploit their victims even more.

- Give a low rating to the website on Web of Trust. You can also install their extension for the same.
- If the company has a listing on Google My Business or Google Maps, file a complaint using the Business Redressal Complaint Form. Also, leave a negative review explaining what kind of experience you had.
