Why Is OptimumFXZilla Fake?
OptimumFXZilla is a website that claims to be a platform for Forex trading and cryptocurrency mining. Though the website name mentions forex more prominently, higher returns are promised from their cryptocurrency mining. The plans themselves very obviously signal a scam as they promise ridiculous returns such as 200% in 18 hours.
The website itself is one of the laziest and amateurish attempts at an investment scam that I have ever seen. There are several references to ‘Monee Capital’ on the website. I found out that this is because the website is based on a design template called Monee. The scammers behind OptimumFXZilla have not even bothered to change much of the text or design elements from the original template.
A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 5th September 2020. The registrant’s details such as name, location and contact details have been hidden for privacy. Therefore, the website is being operated anonymously.
Though the website is clearly only a few months old, different fake ages of the website are mentioned. It is also said on the website that OptimumFXZilla has received several awards, which is obviously another lie.
OptimumFXZilla is also pretending that the platform has mobile apps. However, these links are dummies too as they lead nowhere.
The home page contains testimonials that are quite clearly fake too. The same images and text can be found on several other websites, all of which may be scams. The list is given at the end of the article.
OptimumFXZilla does not seem to have a social media presence. Though social media icons are provided, they are fake.
The contact details are completely fake too. The information provided is dummy text which has been left unchanged from the template.
I could find only one review for OptimumFXZilla and another for a suspiciously similar website called OptimumFXZila. Both the reviews are negative and state that the platforms are scams as they do not pay.
It seems quite obvious that OptimumFXZilla is a scam. The returns being promised, such as 200% in 18 hours, are extremely unreal and the most obvious sign of a scam.
Besides the unbelievable returns, OptimumFXZilla is one of the most pathetically lazy attempts at an investment scam that I have ever seen. The entire website is mostly unchanged from a design template called Monee. Much of the website is just placeholder text, including the contact details. The testimonials are copied too and the same can be found on other websites.
Though the domain name has been registered only in September 2020, OptimumFXZilla is falsely trying to portray itself as a 7-year-old company. The few reviews available are negative and state that OptimumFXZilla is a scam that does not pay investors.
It is advisable to avoid investing with OptimumFXZilla, as it is apparent that it is a scam.

- File a complaint with the payment portal. However, investment scammers mostly use methods such as Bitcoin, Western Union, MoneyGram and other untraceable methods which make refunds impossible.
- File a formal police complaint with the Cybercrime department.
- Leave a negative review on review portals such as Scamadviser and TrustPilot
- Report the website to Google using the Suspicious Site Reporter extension for Chrome
- Give a low rating to the website on Web of Trust. You can also install their extension for the same.
- If the company has a listing on Google My Business or Google Maps, file a complaint using the Business Redressal Complaint Form. Also, leave a negative review explaining what kind of experience you had.
