Why is Okshare Fake?
Okshare is a website that claims to be a pay-to-click platform that pays for tasks such as liking social media pages, videos and more. There is a heavy emphasis on ‘wealth’ and inviting new members to join.
PTC platforms usually pay next to nothing, so it is odd to see one that claims to make you rich. The reason for this is that Okshare is probably nothing but a pyramid scheme, similar to sites like SoJob, Didijob. In fact, Okshare’s interface is identical to those sites.
A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 28th February 2021 in Anhui, China. The registrant’s other details such as name and location have not been provided. Therefore, it is a new website that is being operated anonymously from a high-risk country.
The first sign that Okshare might be a pyramid scheme is that it is impossible to register without an invitation code. It makes no sense for a business that profits by having more workers to restrict the number of people who can join.
There are several packages available for purchase ranging from ₹1,000 to ₹260,000. Making a payment with the intention of generating a profit is an investment and not a job.
The ‘monthly income’ for the highest package costing ₹260,000 is given as ₹315,000 which would mean a monthly profit of 21.2%. This is absolutely ridiculous and makes it quite obvious that Okshare might simply be a pyramid scheme.
The only real source of income for the company seems to be the deposits made by users, with the tasks being only for show.
Users can do the ‘tasks’ for free, but this is pointless because there is no way to withdraw your earnings unless you purchase a package. In short, the only way to earn money is by paying money first.
It is also clear from the ‘income analysis’ that the main way to earn is by inviting more members to join and purchase packages. There are two 3-tier commission bonus structures of 15%-5%-3% and 3%-2%-1%.
This means that users can earn without even doing any tasks as long as keep inviting new users to join Okshare. Such referral bonus structures with absurdly high commissions are only seen in pyramid schemes.
Apart from the website, Okshare also has an app. Strangely, this app can only be downloaded through the website and cannot be installed from the Google Play Store.
This suggests that the app could be illegal as there is no good reason for them to operate outside the store. It is also extremely dangerous as it may contain viruses.
Okshare’s website contains absolutely no information about who is running it. There is some person or company named ‘Vikasharaj’ mentioned on the site, but there is nothing given about who or what this is. There is also no mention of China on the website.
Okshare does not have a social media presence either. The only way to contact the company is using anonymous Telegram channels. The profile pictures of these channels are stolen display pictures and stock images.

Conclusion
It is quite clear that Okshare is probably a pyramid scheme that is lying about being a PTC platform. The tasks seem to exist only for appearance and the only real source of income for the company appears to be the deposits made by users.
The website is very new as it was created at the end of February 2021. The domain name has been registered in China, but there is no mention of this on the site itself. Therefore, the site is being run anonymously from a country known for a high number of scams.
The entire website talks about aggressively inviting new members to join and purchase ‘VIP packages’.
Users cannot even join without an invitation code and it is clear from the income analysis that it is much more lucrative to invite members than to complete tasks.
Users cannot withdraw ‘earnings’ unless they make a minimum payment of ₹1,000. Therefore, this is an investment site and not a PTC platform. The returns being promised are as high as 21.2% per month. Such returns are incredibly unrealistic and unsustainable.
The site also has three-tiered referral bonus commission systems that are only seen in pyramid schemes. Doing tasks is secondary to continuously inviting new members.
There is absolutely no information about the company and the only way to contact them is using anonymous Telegram channels.
It is advisable to avoid signing up on Okshare, as it seems to be a pyramid scheme and not a PTC platform. Pyramid schemes are fraudulent and illegal throughout the world.
Getting payouts is not proof of legitimacy. Pyramid schemes always pay initially to make members re-invest larger amounts. The company will most likely suddenly disappear one day, leaving most of the users with major losses.
