Why is Miners-gain Fake?

YouTube video

Miners-gain is a website that claims to be an investment platform. The company promises returns of up to 150% in 12 hours. Such ROIs are absolutely ridiculous and only promised in fraudulent schemes.

The website does not even mention what kind of investments the company makes to earn such returns.

Further, Miners-gain also has a four-tier 5%-10%-15%-20% referral commission system that rewards members for convincing more people to invest in the platform. Such reward systems are only seen in illegal pyramid schemes.

A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 2nd December 2020. The registrant’s details such as name, location and contact details have been hidden using a paid service. Therefore, it is a new website that is being operated anonymously.

Even though it is clear that Miners-gain did not exist before December 2020, there are multiple instances where a fake website age is mentioned. The statistics on the home page state that the site has been active for 1,497 days (4+ years) which is clearly a lie.

The About Us text on the home page takes this lie even further by claiming that the company has been active for more than 10 years:

miners-gain.co are a company with more than 10 years in the investment arm. Our company is an innovative and practical cryptocurrency investment platform online, which welcomes all members worldwide. We act solely as a facilitator between you and the Enterprise. We are committed to putting our clients at the heart of our business by delivering high-quality investment services. Moreover, we respect our customers, cherish their confidence and help to achieve excellent results.

I found that this text is also being used on at least 22 other websites, all of which are likely to be scams. The list of sites is given at the end of the article.

Miners-gain claims to be registered with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and also provides a certificate as proof. However, there is no doubt that this certificate is fake as the registration number actually belongs to a completely different company.

The fake certificate also states that Miners-gain was registered in May 2017, which is obviously a lie.

Even though Miners-gain claims to be based in Australia, the Terms & Conditions nonsensically mention US Laws. This clearly shows that Miners-gain is not a real company.

The overall quality of the website is terrible as all the text has been copied and the site is full of false information. It is evident that Miners-gain is not a professionally run organization as there is a News section on the site that contains no news articles.

The website does not even contain any contact details. The Contact Us page only contains a form.

However, there is a WhatsApp button on the site that opens up a chat with a phone number carrying the +32 country code of Belgium. This is further proof that Miners-gain is lying about being a real Australian company.

There is only one review available online for Miners-gain which is by a client stating that it is a scam. They have written that Miners-gain did not give them even a single withdrawal after making multiple deposits. This hints that Miners-gain is an Advance Fee Scam.

Conclusion

All the signs suggest that Miners-gain is a fake investment platform run by scammers. The website is extremely low-quality as it contains no original content. It is also riddled with false information.

The website promises investors returns of up to 150% in 12 hours, which is impossible through legitimate means and is the most obvious sign of a scam. Additionally, there is also a four-tier commission system that rewards members for roping in more investors. Such reward programs are only seen in illegal pyramid schemes.

The domain registration information shows without a doubt that Miners-gain did not exist before December 2020. However, the website falsely states that the company is active for more than 10 years. There is also a fake registration certificate that says that the company was registered in Australia in May 2017. None of this information is true.

The website contains no contact information except a WhatsApp number. This phone number carries the country code of Belgium instead of Australia and is likely to be a virtual line that can be operated from anywhere.

The only review available for Miners-gain is by a client who has stated that they were never given a withdrawal even after making multiple deposits on the platform. This suggests that Miners-gain is an Advance Fee Scam.

It is advisable to avoid putting money into Miners-gain or any of the 22 similar websites, as they are all likely to be scams.
