Why is Maxmine Fake?
Maxmine.site is a website that claims to generate profits for investors through TRON cloud mining. The platform promises returns as bizarrely high as 31% per day. Such returns are not realistic or sustainable and it is therefore obvious that the website is a scam.
Maxmine also has a referral commission program where users can earn 10% commissions on deposits of their referrals. This indicates that the platform may be a pyramid scheme if not outright fraud.
A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 11th August 2022 in Maharashtra, India. The registrant’s other details such as name and contact details have not been provided. Therefore, Maxmine is a new website that is being operated anonymously from a high-risk country.
Even though the domain registration data shows that the site was registered in India, it is falsely mentioned on Maxmine’s website that it operates from Europe, USA and China. This is obviously false as I found that the text has been copied from other websites. There are at least 96 other websites using the same content, all of which may be scams. This list of sites is given at the end of the article.
Maxmine’s website is so poorly made that important documentation such as the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy are missing. There is barely any content on the website that would lend credibility to Maxmine as a genuine organization. The website does not even have an About Us page and the content is so bad that it is evidently not written by a professional.
There is absolutely no information given on Maxmine’s website about the company’s management team or details like registration number and address. Maxmine has no social media presence and the only way to contact Maxmine is by email via a contact form or the email ID ‘info@maxmine.site‘. There is also a mention of a Telegram group but no name or link has been provided. As the website owners are using only anonymous methods to communicate, it appears that they are deliberately trying to hide their identity.
I could only find one review for Maxmine. The reviewer on Trustpilot has written that Maxmine is a scam but no further details have been provided. If you want to share your review of this website, you can do so in the comments below or on my social media pages.
Conclusion
It seems quite obvious that Maxmine and the 96 similar websites are incredibly likely to be scams. There are several signs indicating that Maxmine is not a genuine cloud mining firm. The returns being promised are too good to be true and there is a commission referral system, suggesting that Maxmine may be a pyramid scheme if not a complete fraud.
The site is being operated anonymously from India since August 2022. All of the content on the website is copied and the same text can be found on at least 96 other websites, some of which are confirmed scams. The site has no Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy documents, clearly showing that the platform is not run by professionals.
There is no evidence that Maxmine is a real company as no details about the company’s management, registration and licenses have been provided. Maxmine has no social media pages and the owners can only be contacted anonymously via email and Telegram. There is only one review available for the site online and the reviewer has stated that the platform is a scam.
It is advisable to avoid investing with Maxmine or the 96 similar sites as there are no reasons to believe that they are genuine crypto cloud mining firms. As a general rule, never send crypto to strangers as it cannot be recovered.
