Why is Globalcoin-index Fake?

YouTube video

Globalcoin-index is a website that claims to be a crypto investment platform. The return on investments offered by Globalcoin-index are ludicrous as they promise a minimum return of 50% in 3 days. Such returns are not realistic or sustainable and make it obvious that the website is a scam.

Globalcoin-index scam investment plans

Further, Globalcoin-index also has a referral commission program where users can supposedly earn commissions on deposits made by their referrals. Therefore, the platform may be a pyramid scheme if not an outright scam.

A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 19th October 2021. The registrant’s details such as name and contact details have been hidden using a privacy guard. Therefore, Globalcoin-index is a relatively new website that is being operated anonymously from an unknown country.

whois

The website is poorly made and appears to be created using a cheap HYIP template, as with most fake investment platforms. A wrong company name is mentioned, which is a strong indication of Global-coin index being a scam.

  • quantumventures scam fake content
  • netcapitalfunds scam fake content

Important documentation such as the Terms & Condition is fake and the Privacy Policy is missing. The T&C document mentions the name of a completely different company called ‘Arena financial’.

Upon further investigation, I found that the entire website has been copied. Upon analyzing the website’s content, I found that there are 125+ identical websites, all of which are likely to be scams. The list of sites is given at the end of the article.

  • kafurfinancesinvestment hyip scam template

The website contains absolutely no legitimate information as all the content has been copied. Even the team member information and client reviews are copied, making it clear that Globalcoin-index is not a legitimate operation.

The website also falsely claims that Globalcoin-index is registered in the UK. When I checked the company number provided, I found that it belongs to an unrelated company registered in 2019.

In any case, A UK company registration certificate means next to nothing as it is extremely easy to obtain from anywhere in the world. Genuine investment companies must be registered with a financial authority such as the FCA.

Globalcoin-index does not have a social media presence. The phone number is missing. Two fake addresses have been provided and the company absurdly claims to be operating from both the UK and the USA. The UK address belongs to the company which globalcoin-index is impersonating and the USA address is a random residence.

The address belongs to the company Globalcoin-index is impersonating and the phone number is a virtual line that is being used for anonymous WhatsApp messaging and can be operated from anywhere in the world. Therefore, there is no reason to believe that Globalcoin-index is operated from the UK or USA.

Though the phone number is missing, there is a WhatsApp button on the website which leads to an anonymous WhatsApp account. The account has been created using a VoIP line, which means it can be operated from anywhere in the world.

I could not find any reviews for Globalcoin-index on sites like ScamAdviser and Trustpilot, which is strange as the website has apparently been operating for more than two years at the time of writing. If you want to share your review of this platform, you can do so in the comments below or on my social media pages.

Conclusion

It seems evident that Globalcoin-index and the 125+ similar websites are likely to be scams. There are several signs suggesting it is not a genuine investment platform. The website is relatively new and is being operated anonymously. The returns being promised are too good to be true and the referral commission system suggests Globalcoin-index may be a pyramid scheme.

Unknown owners are running the site since October 2021 and there is nothing to suggest that it is a legitimate business. I discovered 125+ other websites similar to Globalcoin-index which may all be scams, many of which are completely identical. All the information on the website is fake and copied, including the company details and client reviews.

Globalcoin-index has no social media presence and the company registration number given is of an unrelated company. Fake addresses have been provided and communication is via anonymous channels such as WhatsApp. No reviews for the platform could be found online.

It is advisable to avoid investing with Globalcoin-index or the 125+ similar sites as there are no reasons to believe that they are genuine investment platforms. As a general rule, never send crypto to strangers as it cannot be recovered.
