Why is Fahamart Fake?
Fahamart is a website that claims to be selling a random assortment of items such as jewellery and garden decorations. The site seems to be a scam from the get-go as I found that the images have been stolen from other websites and the prices are simply too good to be true. Unbelievable prices are often the most obvious indication of a scam.
A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 18th May 2022 in Guangdong, China. The registrant’s details such as name and contact information have not been provided. Therefore, it is a new website being operated anonymously from a high-risk country.
The website is of extremely poor quality and does not even contain important pages such as About Us. This suggests that Fahamart is not a professional operation run by a genuine business. The website has no original content and upon analyzing it, I found that there are at least 310 sites using the same text, all of which may be scams. The list of sites is given at the end of the article.
Even though it is apparent that Fahamart is operated from China, the website tries to create the false impression that it is an American business. The Terms of Service page mentions that Fahamart operates according to US laws, even though there is nothing suggesting that this is true.
While testing the checkout process, I found that the PayPal account associated with the website is called ‘Buyusbuy’. This seems to be a related scam which I will touch upon later in this article.
Fahamart does not mention any social media pages on its website. However, I found a Facebook page for it which may eventually be used for running advertisements on Facebook and Instagram. Not linking to the Facebook page on the website paints Fahamart as a shady website that is trying to hide its tracks.
There is no company information given anywhere on the website. The Contact Us page has nothing but a form to send them an email. The below contact information has been provided in the site’s footer:

The location is clearly fake as it is a residential address. Besides, it has already been established that Fahamart is a Chinese website and not an American business. The email ID provided is of a completely different website called buyusbuy.com which no longer exists. The email address given is wrong too, as it is mentioned as ‘ssupport’ instead of ‘support’ as mentioned on another page on the website.

Conclusion
It is exceedingly likely that Fahamart and the 310 similar sites may be scams operated from China.
Fahamart is a new website created anonymously from China in May 2022. The prices are too good to be true and the entire website’s content has been copied. The same text can be found on at least 310 other websites, all of which may be scams. The website contains no company information and fake details have been provided for support. There are no reviews available for it either.
It is advisable to avoid shopping on Fahamart or any of the 310 related websites as there are high odds that you may lose your money.
If you think that you have been scammed by any of these sites, you can contact PayPal or your bank for a full refund. Don’t accept a partial refund citing that the product is not what you ordered and refuse to ship the items back to China as the merchant claims to be located in the USA.
