Why is Adoyleforensic-ltd Fake?

Adoyleforensic-ltd claims to be a ‘recovery agency’ capable of getting back funds from investment scammers, including cryptocurrency. As I have written previously, cryptocurrency is nearly impossible to recover, which makes promises by new and unknown companies highly dubious.

A domain name lookup of the website shows that it was registered on 18th November 2018. The registrant’s details such as name, location and contact information have been hidden using a paid service. However, there are no snapshots of the website earlier than May 2022 in the Internet Archive, suggesting that the website was not active before 2022. Therefore, it is a new website that is being operated anonymously.

Even though there is no evidence that Adoyleforensic-ltd existed before May 2022, the footer of the website falsely mentions that it is active since 2013. This is a blatant lie.

I found that this same content has been used on at least 67 other websites, all of which may be scams. The list of sites is given at the end of the article.

The testimonials on the website make it obvious that Adoyleforensic-ltd is a scam as they are quite clearly fake. The same testimonials can be found on the other sites too.

The website is run completely anonymously as not even the name of a single team member is mentioned anywhere. The website claims that the company is registered in the UK, but the registration certificate seems to be of an unrelated company created in 2017.

Adoyleforensic-ltd does not have a social media presence. Even though there are social media links present on the website, they are fake as they lead nowhere. I could not find any pages independently.

The contact information given on the website includes an address, email ID and a phone number. I found that the address provided is fake as it is the location of a random street in New York.

The phone number is a VoIP number registered in Kentucky, which makes no sense as Adoyleforensic-ltd claims to be registered in the UK with an office in New York. The number is used for WhatsApp support and is a virtual line that can be operated from anywhere in the world, making it likely that the number is operated by African scammers. Therefore, Adoyleforensic-ltd can only be contacted by anonymous methods of email and WhatsApp.

There are several positive reviews for Adoyleforensic-ltd on Trustpilot and ScamAdviser, however they are likely to be fake much like the reviews on Adoyleforensic-ltd’s own website. I could only find one review of the company which looks genuine and the reviewer has stated that it is an Advance Fee Scam.

Conclusion

It seems quite apparent that Adoyleforensic-ltd is likely to be a fake crypto recovery agency trying to scam people who have already been scammed. The site is being operated anonymously since May 2022 but is lying about being active since 2013.

The website is of poor quality and contains copied content. The same content can be found on at least 67 other websites, all of which may be scams. Important documentation such as the Privacy Policy and ToS are missing. The company claims to be registered in the UK but the registration number seems to belong to an unrelated company.

Even the client testimonials are fake as the same can be found on other sites. Adoyleforensic-ltd does not have a social media presence and the contact details provided show that it is likely to be a scam operation run by international scammers. Even though the company claims to be registered in the UK, it provides a New York address and the phone number is a virtual line registered in Kentucky.

There are several fake reviews for the website online and the only genuine-looking review states that Adoyleforensic-ltd is an Advance Fee Scam. It is advisable to avoid hiring the services of Adoyleforensic-ltd or any of the 67 similar websites as there is a tremendous likelihood that they may be scams.

How to Get Your Money Back from a Scam
